Came by for dinner while on s business trip and being from Texas I needed to see what Ohio bbq was like. Proof has a really cool kinda modern speakeasy vibe. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Got a blackberry bourbon Mule and it was superb! I will say though I was a tiny hesitant to drink it because the bartender picked through five containers of moldy blackberries to have enough for the drink. For my meal I got the brisket with thier spicy sauce and sides of mac n cheese and slaw. The brisket I got was sadly mostly fatty pieces and lacked good bbq flavor. The sauce had no spice and was the most bland bbq sauce I’ve ever had. Now the sides were absolutely bomb and in my opinion saved the meal. The mac n cheese was rich, creamy, cheesy goodness. The slaw was a nice vinegar base with crispy veggies, perfect for cutting the richness of the mac.

I heard they had the best ribs in town. They did not disappoint. You could literally pull the bones out of the meat and they came out perfectly clean. The meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. If you love ribs, this is the place to go in cleveland.

You might walk right past this little spot below Crust, but you would be missing out…. delicious slow-smoked meats and yummy sides. The drinks are good as well, tried Rosemary’s Baby and it was tasty! This venue doesn’t seat a whole lot of folks, so you may have to wait, but it will be worth the wait! The hubby and I shared the chicken and brisket platters and ordered an extra pound of brisket to go Both meats were tender, juicy, and delicious.

Pretty amazing little BBQ joint under Crust in Tremont. Brisket was very tender and tasty, practically did not need any sauce with it to eat. Mac and cheese was downright tasty but wasn’t a fan of the baked beans (not to say you will not like them…might be just me!).

Really good Q in Cleveland. Tasty chicheronnes… I think I spelled that right, the dipping sauce can be devoured quickly. Good selection of sauces. I liked their house sauce and mustard the best. Really good size portions. Great Mac and cheese. Beans are different but pretty good. Brisket was great. Pork belly was tasty and felt like more that the half pound I ordered. Pork shoulder was ok. I don’t think special but definitely not bad, just not my favorite.

Enjoyed lunch at and I’m satisfied at the quality of food that this horseshoe bar provides. I ordered the smoked chicken sandwich with slaw and smoked , bbq baked pinto beans, macaroni & cheese (bartender recommendation), and finally the honeyed cornbread. It didn’t take long to prepare and everything was GREAT! Thanks for the experience.

I can’t say enough how delicious the pork tacos danced on my tongue, closely to the description of its delicate punch of flavor which was on the tip of my tongue because it left me speechless and close to tears (of culinary extant). I really couldn’t swallow just how extremely blended the tastes approached my brain like a well-orchestrated local band riff. FYI, I did indeed enjoy every bit of my wholesome and plentiful meal as did my son, whose succulent burger disappeared faster than the shoreline of our climate change.

Nice niche little BBQ located in the heart of the food and drink scene in Tremont. Service was friendly and efficient. They offer an array of BBQ sauces that come at a cost 0.75¢ per sauce after an allotted 1 or 2. That was my only knock as the sauces are one of my favorite parts of different BBQ places. However, everything is made from scratch so there is a cost associated with that. The meats were excellent, sides delicious, and cocktails fresh. I would recommend. Two entrees with sides and 1 cocktail each comes to $50 pre-tip.

This place is quite trendy and cozy, located under another place. The staff all seemed friendly and attentive. I ordered the house special tonight. Ribs, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. Let me tell you that this most definitely did not disappoint me at all. The price was phenomenal and the food was delicious. I can not wait to go back and try different items because they all looked great. Also if I can add the bartenders acted like actual bartenders right down to the way they mixed the drinks. Friendly staff, patios on front and back. Solid bbq, his tacos (or crust pizza should you choose). Everyone working there was top notch in service! Happy hour is M-F 5-7 , $2 off drafts and 1/2 off apps. Dog friendly on patios.
