My Husband and I really wanted sushi, but I have celiacs so it’s always hard finding a place where I don’t get obliterated. I found Project Sushi on my gluten free app and saw the rave reviews so we had to try it. We showed up right before they closed because we saw the wrong closing times. They were so gracious to have us stay. Jon the owner is fantastic and pointed me to all of my options, which is quite a bit and they made adjustments as needed. His wife is gf and his daughter also has celiacs. They have gluten free rice and soy sauce packets. Their sushi is SO GOOD! For some kick, get the hurricane (they substituted regular jalapeño) and my favorite was the Roller (pronounced rawler). My husband got the spicy tuna and the choke and loved both of them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we can’t wait to go back!

I was hesitant about ordering sushi from a place that gave a vibe of fast food, but do not let that fool you. The food was great, with large portions, and the staff was amazing. They also offer pokie bowls and stir-fried bowls as well.

This place deserves 5 stars just for the customer service. I typically order takeout, but today I opted to dine in. When ordering takeout, the staff always greets me right away, checks in while I wait and they are very quick with putting together my order. While dining in, I received the same treatment. They brought my food to me at the table, and cleared everything when I was finished. You may not expect much from a little place, but I’m here to encourage you not to overlook it! It’s a solid sushi spot, everything is fresh and you always get exactly what you’d expect. I also tried two new rolls today which were wonderful, I’ve never been disappointed by anything I’ve ordered here.

Some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I walked in with my boyfriend for a late lunch and the service was outstanding. They made us feel super welcomed and treated us like family the second we walked in. Sushi was outstanding and reasonably priced. You can tell they actually care and take their time to provide the ultimate guest experience. A+ all across the board, they deserve more recognition!

Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. I travel through the area pretty regularly and I will most definitely be stopping for lunch again!! Lots of options, and they allow you to customize your roll!! Try the Spicy California roll with tempura crunchies.. you won’t be disappointed!! They also offer fresh spring rolls, which are hard to find! Very friendly service as well!!

My husband is particular about sushi and had tried several places locally without much luck. While he found some places to be ‘ok’ – nothing could beat his hometown favorite…until a friend recommended Project Sushi. Now it’s his favorite. I don’t even like sushi, but LOVE the ginger dressing for the salad. I could drink it (maybe I have ;)). Since I don’t like sushi, I stick with the bowls – but the chicken bowl with either rice or noodles is delicious.
