The Local Foodie
Loved the food. Classic sandwiches and delicious soups. This new location is extremely clean, spacious, and well-kept. The person working at the register was very friendly, and the turnaround time for the food was quick. It’s very obvious that most of the things served here are made in house given the great quality and unique flavors. I loved the tomato basil rice soup. The veggie burger is also great; it’s nice to have a burger that isn’t just a frozen store-bought patty.

Sadly, I was disappointed with this place. I ordered a turkey/avocado/bacon sandwich. It was $17, and did not come with any sides. For that price, I expected real turkey. (I guess I should have asked before ordering). Unfortunately, the turkey on the sandwich was equivalent to regular deli lunch meat, (like boar’s head). Despite having all sorts of potentially good ingredients in the sandwich, I wasn’t able to taste anything except for the spicy mustard. Everything was just BLAND. There’s definitely better (and cheaper) places to get a good sandwich in the area.

Great lunch at Princeton Soup and Sandwich in Cranbury. Had the Hummus Wrap for a nice vegetarian and light option, but could not pass up the turkey chili. Both were very tasty and fresh. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was immaculately clean. Was driving through the area on a work trip, but will be back again anytime I am in the area!

The price of food here is very extreme and I’d expect my meals to be excellent but they are very very average… the staff is friendly however this is the second time that they tried to over charge me by an enormous amount because the lady doesnt know how to work the computer. I asked what items came on a salad and made sure they don’t put anything else on there. They did and the lady from the kitchen came out and said that that’s what the salad comes with… well I kindly asked the woman at the counter when I ordered what was on it and what I couldn’t have. Just didn’t appreciate the attitude given to me for their mistake.
