The hot chicken at Princes was my favorite. I did the mild, my husband had the medium. I thought there was a big difference in the 2 flavors. The mild was perfect for me. The salad was super fresh. They were super busy but handled all the customers quickly and professionally. I was very impressed. Definitely recommend.

I ordered my meal online since there was a line at the counter and it was the simplest process. Once my food was ready, I got a text message letting me know. I ordered 4 tenders (mild) and fries to share with my 1 year old. The flavor, crisp, moistness of chicken and temp were all great. It came with sliced bread, a couple pickles, and ranch. No complaints. I would definitely eat here again. This would be a great meal to share with someone else so you could try a variety of items from other businesses – no cutting involved.

I loved Prince’s Hot Chicken. The X-hot was very spicy but I loved it. You also get a lot of food for the price, you probably could split a 4 tender basket with two people. I recommend getting some kind of dairy product tenders x-hot and beyond. It’s not exactly the same as Hattie B’s but it is delicious on its own. Worth trying both and deciding for yourself. And no, the bread in my second picture is not burnt, that’s just the sauce from the chicken!

Prince’s Hot Chicken originated a surprisingly tasty twist on chicken making Nashville’s hot chicken world famous. Fried chicken, already a southern staple is brought alive with hot sauce. Then, when dipped in ranch it becomes a cool treat with a kick. Topped with a dill slice, it is the taste of Nashville.

SO DISAPPOINTING! I was in Nashville for 30 hours and just wanted a good chicken sandwich. I was going to go to Hattie B’s but the line was too long so came here instead. I wish I would’ve waited in the long line.

Had to get Nashville hot chicken at least once during my visit, but the lines at Hattie Bs were too long, so I stopped here instead .

Haven’t had Prince’s since July 2015 at one of their chicken shack locations in north Nashville. This spot in particular is located in the upper level of Assembly Food Hall of Fifth + Broadway. Probably my favorite hot chicken in Nashville. Different than other mainstream competitors with less breading and more heat and seasonings. Pictured here is the four (4) Jumbo Tenders. Hot is definitely hot(!) and probably can do medium next time to be a bit more enjoyable. Should have ordered the Southern Style Cole Slaw but ordered the Mac & Cheese instead. Not crazy about it, but good option to cool down the hot chicken. Blue Cheese dipping sauce was not chunky, unfortunately, but flavorful. Would love to try their Fried Chicken Salad next time.

First time trying Nashville Hot Chicken and this place was . Super flavourful fried chicken sandwich and the Mac n Cheese was also pretty darn good. If you visit Nashville this place is a must go. Service was great. Only criticism is that the chicken was a bit dry, but the flavour made up for that.

Went with the Andre chicken sandwich its definitely the busiest restaurant in the entire upstairs complex. Food is solid my personal favorites were the sandwich itself and the French fries. The Mac and cheese is average but not the worst. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good hot chicken while In Nashville.
