Was there for breakfast this morning. Very disappointed. Chicken fried steak special was disgusting. Overcooked beyond crispy steak covered with big gobs of greasy sausage in overly peppered gravy. Toast with mold on it. Cook hung out at bar for 20 min before cooking my food. Got rude when i told him i was in a hurry. Waitress tried to apologize for rude cook. Cook needs to be fired.

We go there VIRTUALLY every Saturday morning for the BEST BREAKFAST in Central Vermont . Their various versions of eggs benedict (Irish – corn beef hash instead of ham), (Country – sausage gravy instead of hollandaise sauce) etc are FANTASTIC.. as are the breakfast burrito, and specialty omelets.. I had steak and cheddar with onion, green peppers, and mushrooms today.. with hash browns and 2 slices of REAL TOAST.. a TRUE 5/8″ slice of Wheat, Rye, or White toast and coffee.. for around $15.00.

This cafe is in a bowling alley but don’t let that stop you from trying their delicious food. Everything was delicious from the steak n cheese omelette, burger, hand cut homemade fries, and the coffee.

Locals well kept secret! Who would think that the best breakfast joint in town is at the bowling alley! Not I! I was blown away! Great food! Very reasonable pricing! And fast friendly service! I highly recommend the sausage gravy and biscuits! I am addicted!
