SO GOOD! Go if you’re in Jersey City. You won’t find inventive Thai food like this anywhere else in this city. Thai restaurants serve so much of the same stuff but as the chef says, he likes to put a bit of a twist on the classics. The pad thai + super herb and spice noodles were so good. I’d never tried pad thai like this nor have I ever had noodles that tasted so aromatic and layered with complex flavors!

This place is easy to miss, its a nondescript little hole in the wall restaurant. This is somewhere you come for the FOOD, not for the atmosphere or the service. They do not serve alcohol, although you can BYOB. The restaurant has seating for maybe 30 people total and you cannot trust the hours online. Its best to call before coming to confirm he’s still open, because he does close early sometimes (he turned away everyone coming after 7:30 when we were there). My wife and I came here at 7:00 for dinner on a Saturday night. It took a little over an hour for us to finally get our food because the owner is a one man show. As far as we could tell, he is the only employee, and he makes one table’s food start to finish then moves onto the next one. I got the shrimp angel hair pad thai and my wife got the salmon rice bowl. Although I’m not the biggest fan of pad thai, the food was extremely fresh, and deliciously made. I really enjoyed it (although i was fairly hungry after the long wait). It seemed like the most popular item ordered during our time there was the noodle soup, so if I go back I will probably try that next time.

This place is definitely very creative on the menu for Thai food. I tried the crepe and it was great. The owner is a one man show. He is a chef and a waiter and the only one running the restaurant. It’s very plain inside and it’s mainly about the food. It’s definitely the epitome of hole in the wall with very unusual menu items but they’re very good. Loved the food and creativity in the dishes!!!

This is a hidden gem for Thai food fusion in the area. It may put some people off walking in as it seems to just be the owner and chef who runs the place but truly, the food is delicious. I had the pad Thai with pork belly and it was the most unique pad Thai dish I’ve ever had and definitely one of the tastiest and I’ve had quite a few. His version had bonito flakes and spicy mayo with a side kale salad. It was also sweet with a hint of peanut butter taste. It sounds a little unconventional, but I don’t know it works. Definitely would recommend.

It’s definitely not a traditional thai place you’d find anywhere. I love how passionate and friendly the owner is. We got the pad Thai and kaow soi. The pad Thai was quite interesting I’ve definitely never had anything like this before… but probably won’t wanna get it again either lol. The kaow soi was good I really liked it!

It’s a nice cafe vibe Thai restaurant. The host is very energetic and takes time to explain the menu. I tried their noodle soup and crepe. Both delicious!! Definitely recommend. Note: they accept Venmo payment.

Legit one of the best places to eat in Jersey City. I’ve been here twice and my friend & I love the different food we’ve had. Highly recommend the savory crepes, red curry soup, pad thai, black sesame ice cream and red bean ice cream!

I have been visiting this little hidden gem of a restaurant since the time it opened a few years back. Since it is located on a quiet street with very little foot traffic, all the customers that come here are coming because of word of mouth. The restaurant is run by a chef who is passionate about his food and will not take any shortcuts to make money. The menu (even though recently updated) is small but there is not one thing on it that you wouldn’t like. Since this is also a byob restaurant, it is our regular haunt when we want good food to go with the bottle of wine that we like. For those people who complain about the service being slow, please note that this is a one-person show and everything that’s served on your plate is freshly made. The crab cakes are my favorite but the shrimp, scallops and even the chicken is to die for.

Loved the food. 10/10! We tried the Tom Yum soup, Pad thai, a savory crepe and a cheesecake crepe. Everything tasted absolutely delicious. The chef/owner was a great guy – loved talking to him; he was extremely passionate about the restaurant and his food. Please note that the owner is the one who cooks, waits tables, attends to customers etc. and he definitely does a commendable job at managing everything by himself – so please don’t pay attention to reviews saying that the food took time, food wasn’t what they expected etc. Chef’s take on certain dishes were definitely different from the ‘Thai cuisine’ that a general American audience is familiar with. But I wouldn’t complain, we loved the food. I really hope that more folks try out this restaurant♥️
