Unexpectedly great place to stop for some Mexican food! We ordered beef and chicken tacos which were delicious, juicy and fresh. Their salsa comes in still steaming and we even asked for more we liked it so much. The owner is a very nice gentleman!

So even though the food was excellent and the service was excellent I have to rate it a two because it was a bait and switch. I ordered two breakfast burritos which were $9.99 on the menu. A little bit pricey but no big deal, I ordered them at that price. I even asked them to hold the beans which come inside so it even cost them less to make it than normal. They came out quickly, hot and just the way I ordered them. Flavorful and good, I enjoyed my meal, a few Dr Peppers and went to pay. I noticed she rang them up at $10.99 and point it out the price discrepancy. She said “Oh they are a dollar extra after 11:00 a.m.” which is not posted or printed anywhere and then proceeded to give me a blank look like there was nothing she could do. So instead of tipping her the $10 I was planning to, I only tipped her $5 which brought everything up to $32 and some odd cents for two breakfast burritos and a soda. Like I said originally though, other than the bait and switch everything else was fabulous.

I ordered 12 beef tacos and 2 cokes and paid 57.89. The tacos sucked. The onions were supposed to be grilled, but they were just diced raw onions. The tacos tasted like something I could have made at home for a quarter of the price. I’m very disappointed in my experience and I will not be returning. I’ve seen more authentic Mexican food at taco bell.

Talk about a hidden gem. This little restaurant has awesome food. They are tucked into a Truckstop that was just bought out by TA. The owner and his daughter Mirasol were pleasant. The service was wonderful, and if you haven’t stopped here, you should check it out. It’s adjacent to the Old Hutchin Post on I-45 exit 118 in beautiful Texas. They have a Tex-Mex type menu. The Taco plate I had was excellent. The Salsa for the Chips could use a little heat, but I will definitely be back. Come support this Dad/ Daughter business, you won’t be disappointed.

Hidden gem! You have to stop and grab a plate. Perfect hole in the wall that not many know about! I’m a fat guy and so I know what tastes good so trust me when I say eat here. I was expecting a dirty nasty truck stop but when I went into the store I was floored on how nice it was on the inside and that includes the restaurant!

I order 2 cokes and 12 tacos for $57. Tacos were gross and dripping with grease. Every bite had tough grissle. I spit out more than I could eat. They obviously don’t know how to do tacos. Will not be back.

Owner & staff are AMAZING they are family owned and friendly operated. Food was more than I could eat. Clean and neatly well kept. Couldn’t ask for a better clean friendly place to park for a bite. Prices are incredibly low also. If you get here at 9 pm they won’t lock you in.
