Wish this place was located where I live. Fantastic menu, awesome food and a staff that will make sure all is well. Chef is awesome too! Once I discovered this place I went for dinner 3 nights in a row. Lasagna excellent, love the sauce. The Iberica pork chop, makes my mouth water thinking about it. I also had the Veal picata style, wonderful preparation, excellent textures, loved the pasta too. The steaks are awesome as well. Middletown will embrace Primo if they walk in the door! I’m jealous

Part of this place is definitely the experience. Restaurant is beautiful and wait staff were excellent (hopefully this continues past their limited reservation soft opening period). Waitress started out with explaining menu is designed as a true Italian experience with 5 courses and designed to let the ingredients shine with their dishes not being seasoned except for a little salt. Ordered the chopped salad, mushroom and onion soup, and a porterhouse steak. Others I were dining with ordered the chicken piccata and veal bolognese.

Wow! What an exceptional experience. Fine dinning at it finest. This is hands down a place to remember! The food was beyond delicious! Everything was top quality and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! If you’ve not yet been to the brand new Primo Italian Steakhouse in Middletown, you need to make your dinner reservations! This restaurant is GORGEOUS and has so many unique Italian touches that make the experience one of a kind. It is the same owners as Prime Cincinnati and Street City Pub in downtown Cincinnati, so you know it’s delicious! I highly recommend the Ossobuco, but everything I’ve had here has been delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Magnifico! Excellent experience! This beautiful restaurant is nestled in downtown Middletown. Authentic Italian food. We were a party of 5, ordered several appetizers to share. Presentation was incredible. Tried several different pasta dishes. Hard to pick a favorite, as they were all delicious! Our service was fantastic! If I have one critique, it was the background music. We asked the manager to play some Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin and he accommodated! The ambiance was then perfect! It’s a taste of Italy!

Drove to Middletown to eat at a different restaurant that was actually closed at 8:30 on a Friday night so stumbled across Primo. Although expensive and more of a special occasion spot our service and food and entire experience was phenomenal! Our server/bar tender explained in detail how all the food was prepared, the family style side options as this was our first time dining. Cesar salad and fresh homemade bread to the filets, mixed vegetables and port belly potatoes. You get what you pay for and the food was outstanding! As much as I wanted desert, and I’m sure it would not have disappointed, I chose to pass but we will be back!! The service was also wonderful and made our unexpected stop at Primo very satisfying and memorable! Thank you!

Our first time and we will be back! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a great atmosphere. Our servers, Shay and Diamond were friendly and helped us select our delicious selections. After dinner we enjoyed a Prosecco with lemon sorbet to cleanse the palate – delicious! Nelson, the owner, stopped by our table and chatted with us. Highly Recommend

Best dining experience I have ever had. This place is upscale so it is pricey. But the food and service were beyond excellent. My wife and I enjoy getting a bit dressed up and going to places like this once in awhile. And Primo fit the bill for us.

Service was questionable from the start. For the price server’s need to be crisp. Didn’t understand drinks options well and was training someone. Works well if you only have to choose Coke or Diet Coke. Trainee asked who at our table had a drink no one recognized. We ordered a dirty martini. Why not call it that? Too much explanation of how their food was so special it was going to take forever to be served – like Italy. Why not let us tell you? Food was excellent but super expensive. We just had mother’s day at Capital Grille and service and food were off the charts good plus less expensive. Go hire their servers. Or Soto in Cincinnati. It is booked solid for months. Why not just imitate them?? We had been here a few months ago when the restaurant was new and errors were made. Nothing has changed. Two couples with separate checks got messed up. Restaurant was empty for weekend night. Good luck with the most expensive food in Ohio and worst service. In Middletown. Really???
