The pizza was delicious. Flavorful sauce perfect crust. No complaints. The man and woman working the restaurant were very friendly and personable. It was like eating with friends. Will definitely visit again.

Man, I’m done eating NY Pizza Express! This pizza, they use quality ingredients as is reflected in the taste. $14 for a 16″ pizza is a great deal. Had the meatballs, they were fine. The garlic knots were a hit as well.

Only been here once before and that was years ago. Went with some others. All were pleased. Stromboli was excellent. The two pizzas were very good. The salad was a bit small and had your bacon iceberg lettuce.

Perfect little pizza place. The lady, whom I assume is the owner, has the most soothing, motherly voice. I’m jealous of her family. 🙂 She was kind, courteous, patient, helpful… The wait for our food was not a long one, but everything was fresh. We had buffalo wings, a small cheese pizza with banana peppers, and a calzone that could feed 4 people easily. 0 complaints. I hope we go back again when in the area. 10/10

This place is the best pizza in the area! We have eaten here about 4 times since we found it a couple months ago and it is a rare gem of a place. The ingredients are quality and it is consistently great. It reminds me of pizza places in the 90s when the ingredients were still amazing and people truly cared about their product. It’s our new family pizza place and we love it!

I wanted to love this place, based on the reviews! I ordered the white pizza and it is completely overwhelming with ricotta and mozzarella. It made the dough soggy and was just not good. Though they technically have tea, when we asked for it we were told no because it “was bad”, and our waitress was most likely one of the owners- she didn’t care at all saying no to sweet or unsweet tea because theirs had gone bad. The service was not good after that, either… if they would specify what dining in vs not dining in was, I would be fine getting my own drinks… but she was serving us and never refilled or came to the table so I finally got a refill on my own. If you’re in the Matthews area, maybe a different kind of pizza might be better and the chicken parm looks good- but I did spend a while choosing the white pizza based on reviews and than didn’t pan out. Also the dining environment is more cafe style, it’s no frills. Also, zero kid friendliness. We had 5 people and were given 2 menus. We had 2 kids and nothing for them (kids menus, crayons), and we were the only people in the restaurant.

I have been to Primavera Pizza a few times, my favorite is the Philly Cheese Steak it’s so yummy! My mom got a stromboli and I tried a bite and it was tasty too. The owner does everything waitress, cook, cashier. Sometimes it takes a little while for your order, but I promise it will be hot, fresh and tasty.

Stopped here for dinner after a long day of soccer. Not super busy so we were worried it wouldn’t be very good. Boy, we were wrong! Absolutely delicious garlic knots and pizza.

This was our 1st time here. There was no one in the store, which is ok it was 3 on a rainy Saturday. The lady was outside smoking which was fine, but I don’t think she washed her hands, so strike 1. She was nice and took our order for drinks. The soda was flat so choose a different one and that was flat too. My kids ordered kids pizzas with cheese and bacon which came on flat bread. It was ok. One kid ate it and the other barely ate a slice. My husband ordered the gyro platter(Not sure why he ordered this at a pizza place but his choice and he was paying). The Greek salad was just iceberg lettuce with onions, 1 tomato, 1 cucumber, feta cheese and dressing. It was sad. The dressing was horrible. Not sure what in it, but it had no taste at all and was separating. The gyro meat was rolled up, which I have never seen for a gyro. It looked like a hot dog cut in half, but dark brown. The pita bread was good. The sauce was ok. It was definitely a mistake to order. And they were coughing the whole time, not good. We will not return. Now maybe their pizza, but from the kids pizza we couldn’t tell. I do not recommend.

So far, this is my favorite pizza spot in Matthews. The staff was pretty friendly and the food was actually pretty good. The pizza was a bit more doughy than I like, but that’s a personal preference and not their fault. Overall, I’d recommend coming here.
