I got recommended to Prima Pizza on the Storm King Art Center website. We went here after visiting the sculpture garden and enjoyed an amazing pie! The atmosphere in Prima is so inviting and wonderful and everything I could hope for on a little road trip. The pizza was delicious and came out pretty quickly and we were also given garlic bread with the pie. The staff was so friendly. I live about an hour away but I definitely will be back!! (also they play a great radio station 🙂 )

Delightful, cozy, restaurant with delicious sauce! The pizza (one regular crust pepperoni and a cauliflower crust with spinach and onion) were both excellent! It came with a lovely order of complimentary garlic bread. The service was excellent! I would highly recommend Primas.

What a delightful experience. The pizza was delicious with a thin crust, lots of sauce and fresh, juicy tomatoes. You have to try the huge meatballs, very tender and tasty. The owner, Anthony came over to chat with us. Our server, Thomas was so polite, friendly and also chatted with us and made us feel right at home. The restaurant has a “back in time” look and feel. Even the background music is “a blast from the past”. All the young men working in the restaurant go non-stop and do it with such a welcoming smile. Many thanks to the entire team for making our dinner such an unforgettable experience.

Stopped in unexpectedly on a road trip from Michigan…….Prima Pizza is an amazing authentic New York pizza experience. The location in Cornwall is quaint and full of unique and historic charm. From the moment you walk through the door, you are treated like family. The food was excellent and so was the service. AJ and Billy (and the whole staff) are doing an amazing job carrying on the family business and legacy of Prima Pizza!

Great pizza! And they have a gluten-free option with a delicious cauliflower crust. I went for lunch, but I’d like to go back for dinner because there’s a gluten free cheese ravioli listed on the dinner menu that made my mouth water. Fantastic service; the waiter was so friendly and helpful. He brought out dessert to the rest of my crew – fried dough and chocolate dip. They devoured it.

Genuinely the best pizza I have ever had, and THE best restaurant experience I have ever had. I went in in the middle of a Wednesday and along with some fantastic subs, we got to try free pizza because of our tip, AND we got to watch the delivery guy do karaoke. If you are in the area you MUST stop by.
