I stopped by for a snack, to this wide open very pleasant space where, from the moment I walked in, I was treated so kindly by Deja, Joel and Sarah. Pret should be proud to have such wonderful employees who go the extra yard. What is more, not only do they show sincere interest in the customer, they show deep respect for each other, which is why, I am sure, the ambience feels so calm. Please make sure these employees receive the accolades they do deserve. This Pret will surely be my stop when in this area.

As a coffee shop they do such a sloppy job with their coffee. It’s not even worth the unlimited monthly subscription.

Really unsettling experience. I arrived in Manhattan a little early before work and stopped by this Pret this past Monday morning March 13th. It was probably between 7 and 7:15am there was a female worker there by herself with a ponytail. The customer in front of me was a tall white man and she was very welcoming towards him and friendly then as he left and I was next she gave me the nastiest look did not greet me and treated me like I did not belong there. The experience was very disgusting as she looked at me like I was her worst enemy when I was simply the next customer, only difference is I’m black. With that said and with enough hate in the world it’s disgraceful and such a shame that after being a longtime customer of going to Pret for years really a shame the staff and service have joined in with such mindless negativity and behavior. I will not be returning but wanted to just share my experience to perhaps save others that look like me to spend their money elsewhere..

Over prized, little tiny egg sandwich $7 and staled coffee $4. Never again. Hope they go out of business.

Terrible customer service, the older spanish lady with brown hair and brown eyes has an attitude issue with customers. I will never give them my business again. It was a Thursday afternoon shift. I was gathering my things and she said “

I am being nice giving two stars. This place is ghetto for a Park Avenue location. The staff manager or supervisor was talking about the clients in front of a client. It almost appeared as if she was disappointed on how many customers dined in due to the nice weather. Stating I don’t know why there was so many people in here and where they was all gonna fit. I was offended by that considering I work in the area. On another occasion I felt singled out as I was approached to raise my mask higher despite the Indoor Business Mask Requirement being lifted as of Feb 9, 2022.

I stopped by here two days ago. And I’m writing this after two days of food poisoning, had to call out of work. How hard is it to make and store a chicken caeser salad? Apparently too hard. Disgusting. Cold. And unfriendly branch.

This one is solely to the girl at the checkout. I’m guessing you’re a morning shifter. First you can’t direct the traffic of your line properly. Second, I really hope your day is inconvenienced the same way you did mine when you filled my hot coffee up to the nines and it spilled all over me and my phone as I walked back to my office. As if I can’t carry a cup of coffee like a normal person. When in reality, you could’ve just filled a cup to a reasonable line. Jerk!
