Predalina brings a full-service restaurant and bar complete with outdoor dining, a large bar, wood-fired oven and wine cellar to Water Street. Predalina owners Blake Casper and Allison Adams are known for their collection of successful restaurants and retail shops throughout Tampa, including Oxford Exchange, The Library and The Stovall House. The new restaurant celebrates the long and fruitful life of Casper and Adams’ great-grandmother. Born in Brazil, raised in Portugal, and eventually settling in Rhode Island, Predalina Oliviera lived to 101 – and always cherished life by the sea. As a nod to Predalina’s love of waterfront living, the restaurant focuses on fresh, seafood-driven Mediterranean cuisine.

We went about 3 weeks after they opened for lunch. Seated for our reservation immediately. Service was great! Decor and design stunning! We got the hummus & dips as an appetizer with cappuccinos. All amazing! We split the chicken sandwich with the fries and the Brussels sprouts and had the doughnut holes for dessert with more cappuccino. The prices were okay. Not a fan we had to pay a fixed a $20 parking rate across the street. But this place is beautiful and already have reservations to go back again in the next few weeks! It’s an experience!!! All the food was fantastic!

The food was delicious and the menu was well designed. The seating arrangement is atrocious with a middle aisle of tables too close to each other. I saw countless times where the waitress had to apologize because she backed up into a patron walking behind them. I was waiting for a plate or drink to spill on my wife, but luckily there no major collisions. The service was flat out awful. Words cannot describe the lack of menu knowledge, care in service, or promptness of service. Atrocious is how I’d describe my server.

Predalina is a Mediterranean seafood heavy restaurant with an incredible atmosphere. The music is modern and not too loud. The service staff is attentive and friendly but they don’t spend too much time discussing the menu. Every dish was flavorful and the cocktail list is unique and only available at the restaurant. I highly recommend this new staple of Tampa fine dining!

My friend and I dined here before the Beyonce concert. They had a special “summer Renaissance” drink for the show! I don’t drink, and they also had several non-alcoholic drinks that were options. We also had several food accommodations that were regarded by the server and chef. Everything was fantastic and delicious! The fish was buttery and flavorful, and the Brussel sprouts…GET THEM. I don’t know how they make them, but I could have eaten so many they were SO GOOD!!! Ambiance was really nice. Only minor issue is they sat a really loud party right next to us when there were other options.

Food was delicious and our server, Carmen, was fantastic! The two people at the hostess stand were not very welcoming but thankfully the rest of the staff made up for it. Highly recommend the tuna and fluke crudos and the phyllo crunch dessert. We loved getting to see Chef Billy and appreciated him popping out to make sure our food was good! Overall a great dinner!

Loved my experience here! The food was amazing! The salmon was incredibly fresh and well seasoned, the flank steak was cooked perfectly with complimenting sauces and cherry tomatoes on the side, the mushroom flatbread was generously proportioned with cheese and sweet glaze and the crab pasta was buttery and filling. A table favorite was the potato stroma for an appetizer. It tasted like a fancy hash brown. Service was also great. Highly recommend!

They have an amazing story. One of hard work, resilience and dedication. And as a former employee i can tell you they have worked very hard on on the Mediterranean concept. The servers trained for weeks on making sure every guest has the most amazing dining experience. I was a little annoyed in training lol because it was so detailed and intricate I thought we were training for royals lol. But they are very serious and giving you the best that an experienced the best food on the best atmosphere. Like the wonderful GM always ( Mark) always says ” service is black and white, hospitality is color” and trust, mark has sacrificed his time, effort, marriage and gym membership for the success of this place. He believes in it and his employees. They trust him and he takes care of everyone! Please visit has many times has you can. Its a wonderful place to be

Overall, I had a good experience at Predalina, but I wasn’t blown away. I’ll start with the appetizers, which were all great: the crudité & pita, manti, yellow fin tuna crudo and the potato stroma. For the mains, we opted for the Blue Crab Chitarra and the Tomato Calamarata with chicken. Both were good, but not great or worth the hype. Presentation was top notch, service was great, and the place is elegantly decorated. I can see why there’s so much buzz around this place (location, new restaurant), but aside from a couple of the appetizers, I’m not sure the food is worth the price point.
