We have dined in and carry out at PRAIRE QUEEN. Today we were in a hurry and got carry out at around 11:00am. We got two chicken dinners. As usual the amount of food was more than normal. The two pieces of chicken had one of the best tastes ever and had to be pan fried. Wow! The mashed potatoes were like my Mom use to make and the white cream gravy was exceptional. Not so much pepper in the gravy that you could not enjoy it. I can not even describe the green beans. I’ll bet we will be watching for the day fried chicken is on the menu next and we will drive the 15 miles to East PRAIRE for the greatest comfort food ever.

Great food. Great service. Friendly people. An overall great experience. Highly recommended. The new management has really stepped up the game here. It’s a must try!

Three stars had the wait been in any way reasonable. Nice, hometown spot—decent food.

The absolute best Friday night fish place in the area!! Awesome staff, service and great food! Also love their fried pickle spears!

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat while killing a few hours the other day. I truly enjoyed the laid back, friendly atmosphere. We were greeted by everyone, including other diners. I loved that hometown feel! The food was good as well, and priced very decent.

The staff is friendly. The food is overpriced and ours was overcooked. The fries tasted like they had been cooked in well-used oil, and were overdone. Our waiting time was a bit long, in my opinion. They were missing an ingredient from my order, and offered to add it once an employee had returned with it, but we didn’t want to wait longer than we already had. In their defense, they did seem shorthanded.

Your fish is the best around.

A diamond in the rough! Went here for some ice cream, and they did not disappoint! The best “blizzard” jam packed with goodies. My guests got a chocolate milkshake and a snowcone, both very good. The owner even came out and was very friedly. We’ll definitely come back!
