Went for brunch on a Saturday morning. It was not busy and we had a reservation. The staff was friendly but it took 20 minutes to get drinks. Lovely atmosphere great unique menu and overall kind engaged staff. I got the breakfast brisket hash. The egg was perfectly runny. The brisket was tender and perfectly seasoned. My only complaint about the meal was that the hash was slightly under done.

My sister and I were in town for the Fargo Marathon and were looking for a cute, local spot to eat lunch. This place was just what we were looking for. Food and service was great. Highly recommended!

Had a reservation and arrived 5 minutes early, weren’t greeted by a host. Despite numerous tables being open we were not seated. Each party who was behind us in line was seated promptly without a reservation. As we were forced to stand awkwardly as they rushed to seat people without reservations, freshly cooked food sat on the counter the entire time we were there. None of the workers were friendly and were upset that we walked out after 15 minutes of no attempts to greet or check in with us. My mother is disabled and was forced to stand and wait while staff sheepishly walked around without any sense of urgency or regard for numerous patrons waiting in line. Will not be back. Blamed it on staff shortages but had numerous crew members standing around.

Service is always friendly and reasonably quick. Drinks are excellent, and food is top tier as well. I like the interesting spin on traditional cuisine. Parking is often problematic but otherwise it’s a great experience.

I ordered pasta Primavera and a friend ordered Swedish meatballs so we could share. The pasta sauce was good, but the noodles were undercooked (not al dente, undercooked) and the portion was very small for $22. The Swedish meatballs were cold and undercooked, so lost my appetite after that.

Prairie Kitchen is great. I’ve had a couple of different entrees there: the Nordic Banh Mi and the Butcher Block Burger. Both are great. The lefse platter is good. The Brussels sprouts are superb.
