My husband and I went for our anniversary and had such a great time! We made a reservation and I’m glad we did as it was a busy Friday night. Our waiter had a lot of tables and was constantly running but he managed it all very very well! The steak was PHENOMENAL – worth the price. Wine was delicious and the Marquette paired very nicely with the steak. We topped it all off with some chocolate cake and it was a great dinner. I would highly recommend prairie creek!

On Wednesday August 23rd we were at prairie creek winery to pick up our wine club purchase and enjoy a meal. There were 6 of us, 3 couples and we had reservations. We were seated immediately but that is where the good service ended. We waited patiently for wait staff to arrive to take our orders. It was about 30 minutes before we received our complimentary glass of wine and the hors devours. After that is was about another half hour before our food orders were taken. By the time our food was brought to our table, it was almost 8pm. Almost 2 hours from the time we were seated. I did call the hostess to our table and expressed my displeasure with the service and was treated to a multitude of excuses. She said I needed to speak with our waitress but she was not readily available. I asked to speak with Nick and was told he was not on site. When our waitress finally came back she apologized and also offered a number of excuses. We have been wine club members for most of it’s existence and have always enjoyed the entire PCW experience. After the experience we had last night, we will not be eager to visit again.

You need to make a reservation. Food is awesome. The New York is worth paying more than for the pork chop of which we had one of each. The salad was so delicious I would have just paid for a larger one of those for my entire meal.

Scott is the best! So knowledgeable and friendly. One of my favorite waiters I’ve had. Try the Haystack for the appetizer, it was me and my fiancés favorite part of the meal 🙂 the wine was surprisingly delish. Their white wines were the best.

We were with a party of 4 to do a wine tasting. When the male host asked if we had reservations we said we were here for a wine tasting. He commented”Oh, only a wine tasting. You will have to go to the counter”. As we stepped up to the counter a lady gave us the wine selection and explained a few that were hand written onto the card. We made our selections as she gave each of us a glass. We slid our cards forward so she knew we were ready. We waited 10 minutes and no one tried to serve us. We watched as the host and server went behind the wall. When they came back out the server stood with her back to us and the host looked down at his reservation book. No one could make eye contact. We decided to leave since just wine tasting isn’t worth the business. We looked at both of them as we left and they didn’t even look up with concern as we were leaving. Very unprofessional! I hope the Nebraska Winery Association takes them off the list. They don’t want to promote the wine!
