Pozole could be a bit hotter (warmer)it is definitely a good pozole. I also tried a pambaso, and that one was great. It’s an old place, but it goes with the saying of a good hole in the wall. Service was polite. I will go back!

Delicious pozole! Tacos not as much. More onion than meat. Seating limited on a busy Sunday at 11 AM. 15 min wait for food to go after ordering and paying. 3 tacos 1 pozole.

Delicious!! Don’t judge a book by its cover. My guy didn’t feel safe in this area.. but we decided to stay and good thing we did! Food Was AMAZING. Flavors, wow. Service was great! Make sure you get there in time. It gets VERY busy. You can also order to go. Fire! We will be back!

I’ve been here four times now and it’s always excellent. The pozole is my favorite in Phoenix, always very clean tasting, good portions and flavor. The establishment itself is also tidy and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. Service is always very friendly, whether I’ve sat down to eat or taken food to go.

I love this place. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. My favorite dishes, so far, are; pozole rojo, mole rojo, and chiles rellenos. I’ve also had a fish taco from this place and it did not disappoint. It was crispy and tasty. The only complaint I have is that they don’t have super spicy salsa. This may be my new favorite restaurant.

I don’t know if today was an off-day, but I tried this place because of the ratings. When I got my plate this morning I ordered the breakfast egg and Ham and a side of beans. After about half way of eating, everything seemed off. The taste of the sausage and the taste of the ham was not a normal taste. I also purchased a large Horchata which was too sweet. That’s not something I normally complain about.
