The restaurant is a small Buisness with the owner as the chef. He was very kind and attentive. I ordered Red Pozole with Pork, the others ordered Green Pozole with Chicken and White Pozole with Chicken. They were all delicious but we all agreed the Green Pozole With Chicken was the tastiest. The came with a huge tray with Tostadas, onions, cilantro, radishes, Chile’s toriados, a red Chile de Árbol that was bomb and my favorite, Potato Flautas. It was my first time here and will be back again. #Supportsmallbusiness

Oh my goodness. The food was amazing. I have never eaten such wonderful vegetarian food ever here. Sizzling hot and very tasty. Every sauce had a unique flavor with different dishes. He is an amazing chef.

I went here for my first time and was so happy I did. The owner Carla was so friendly and informative her father is the chef and you can tell he puts a lot of love in his dishes. The restaurant is small but inviting. The pozole was outstanding. I had the Pork Verde and it was such a delicious blend of flavors. I got to try a small sample of the rojo and it was different but delicious also. I’m going to try it next time. There will definitely be a next time. My husband had fish tacos and loved them too. We have tried many different Mexican Restaurants this one is definitely in the top 3.

Top pozole spot in San Diego. I grew up eating pozole rojo, this place carries it AND it’s well seasoned. You’d be surprised how challenging it is to find good tasting Mexican food, especially when 1st Gens still remember Como cocinaba la abuelita!!!

This place it a a hole in the wall and it’s a bit intimidating but I ordered the pozole verde as I was searching for a good place and I found it near my home. The pozole verde was sooo delicious that I’m hooked and will try other things it was good and the guy there was so nice he even gave me a discount as they didn’t take debit card so BRING CASH and I had to go to an ATM but it was worth it. I will be returning and going to tell my friends and family.

Delicious I came here because my sister found this place Sunday and I wanted to try it immediately. Unfortunately they don’t open on Mondays so I had to wait, did not disappoint. I did not even look at the menu because I knew what I wanted . The server was friendly, the place is clean, there is parking and I will definitely return.

Went here for the first time this AM for a late breakfast / early lunch. Tried the rojo pozole. A large bowl full of broth, meat, cabbage and hominy. Came with a side plate of cilantro, onions, radishes, chips, corn tortilla, chicaronnes, a potato taquito and slice of avocado. Awesome flavor and a great deal for the $10.00. Really nice people and a very clean and relaxing setting. Places like this in San Diego bringing the flavors and experience of Mexico without having to cross the border makes this one of my new go to places. My sister in law in San Miguel Allende is an amazing chef and her pozole is what I’m basing this review on. Different, but awesome.
