I stopped by after work for a quick meal to take home. The location was pretty clean, convenient downtown location from the Alamo, Riverwalk and adjacent to the Shops at River center. My server was *Sal/Saul and he was super friendly helping me understand the menu, options and just answering all of my curiosity without the “next” attitude most fast-food places have.

This was my first time eating at a Potbelly. The manager was so helpful with the app and user benefits. He made our salads and was very hospitable. He knows how to earn repeat business. Of course that only works if the food is great. It was. The salad was fresh and delicious. Fresh, ripe avocados are extra appreciated and hard to come by in restaurants. They’re perfect here.

I went to this specific spot before closing and the crew that were there said they didn’t have much food left. I wasn’t too worry about that. What triggered me was their non verbal communication hand signal they were giving to each other. They were literally telling each other “say there is nothing left so they can go and we can close up” mind you there was half hour left!! Clearly they didn’t want to work and wanted to shut down early. Will not go back to this location again!

This is my first time coming to this store and the customer service was phenomenal. Jennifer helped take the order on the phone then greeted us as soon as we walked in and was able to make recommendations for items/condiments that were unavailable. Excellent customer service. We came here in July for the You, God’s Music Finals and the guy that ran it was so kind to us!! The food was good and they blessed us with some complimentary coupons, as well! The place was clean and there was even a lady there who shared her art with us. She was very talented! We know it’s a little late leaving this review, but we figured it’d be better to do it now than never! We hope this place continues to flourish and maybe we will be able to stop by if we get to visit again! Thanks so much!!
