I went through drive thru and ordered Italian sandwich, chips and strawberry shake. Got a very hot, greasy toasted ham, I think there was a slice of bologna, nothing else….no chips, strawberry shake was fine. We didn’t bother to call and complain, we just won’t return to Glen Ellyn Potbelly. We like the one in Danada…they have never messed up our order.

After ordering online for pickup, and arriving home with my order I discovered my sandwiches were not what I ordered. No big deal I called to let them know and asked them to remake them. I thought it was a bit odd that they wanted the sandwiches back, but that’s fine. What I didn’t expect was to have the sandwiches picked through in front of me and then get argued with that only one sandwich was wrong. After all that I still had to wait for them to get made. When I got back home, the subs were right, but the toppings weren’t! Ridiculous! This place is too expensive for this kind of service. I won’t be returning.

Potbelly corporate and this location are engaging in blatant fraud for my $150 catering order. When I went to collect my order, Shift Supervisor Maria was rude, unapologetic, refused to assist me, and began yelling. Do not visit this location or order through the Potbelly website because they will steal your money. I’ve requested the store manager, regional manager, and reached out to Potbelly corporate without any response. I will be contacting my bank and the BBB to report fraud.

Been going here for a few years now and it’s going downhill. Past 2 occasions have been faulty and pretty bad. A wrong order and very old mac ‘n cheese. Check out is always a scramble for the cashier. Food still alright, certainly not great, but the service is becoming a dealbreaker.

I never review places but this place deserves a review and mostly for one worker. She was the kindest person that has served me any where. I didn’t catch her name, but she had a tattoo on her upper forearm and her hair was dark and reddish in a bun. She had an incredible attitude. I told her she was extremely kind. GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE. And the food was delicious:)

TERRIBLE service. I placed a catering order that they somehow “didn’t get” placed. I stood in the store for 40 minutes and was continued to be ignored. I had to butt in after 20 minutes to ask for help as I was continually ignored. Once I finally got to the apparent only woman that could help me, she told me she didn’t have the order. I called the person who placed the order I was picking up and asked the exact items. Once I had the list I went to get the woman again to let her know what it was only to be ignored again for another 20 minutes. She told me she didn’t have it and that if I wanted it I’d have to wait a while. No apology no explanation, NOTHING. I get things happen, but to be ignored and then nothing to right the wrong was upsetting.

I have had Potbelly numerous times and have ordered so many times including catering for corporate events. I will NEVER use this location!! One of the most incompetent locations ever! ordered 2 sandwiches online at 9am for 11:30am delivery its now 12pm and still don’t have them. the restaurant doesn’t want to answer their phone, had to call 12 times to get someone to answer. People are at work and order bc they can’t leave and have limited time and count on this. hence the reason we try to be proactive and do things early. leave it to this place to screw it up. we have a class full of students we have to tend to, now we can’t even have lunch bc you couldn’t get it to us. so I hope that makes you feel great about yourself! what a joke you are! Honestly, I really feel you should refund all of my money for this order as by the time you decide to deliver this food, we wont be able to even eat it and it will go to waste, I will never order from this location ever again! absolutely disgusted by this place! shame on you potbelly! do better! what a disaster of a place you are!

Glen Ellyn, IL location sucks. Ordered via Ubereats. The shake was frozen. Like they made it last night, put it in freezer and gave it to the first sap to order a chocolate shake today. Lost a lifetime customer. Idiots. If it was an option for me, I’d drive it back there and demand a freshly made shake.
