Potbelly is a sandwich chain located in Brandon, FL. The dining room is sterile, nicely themed, with and has an open kitchen. However, there was confusion on where to order, which was at the front. Most employees spoke too quietly, but they were polite and friendly.

I’m going to be 100% honest. PANERA IS BETTER. Food, atmosphere AND service. The food was disgusting. Subway could do better, I’m sorry. The service was embarrassingly slow and unprofessional. Two people were taking my order at the same time on one microphone in the drive thru. Atmosphere could have been way better. As a customer, I felt ignored and unimportant. Sad to say, not worth $12 I paid. The broccoli and cheddar soup was better than the sandwich . Will not return.

Great food, but vegetarians beware. My husband and I love coming here, and we have brought family that comes to visit f4om out of town. However, my aunt is vegetarian, and I would not feel comfortable bringing her here. I have seen the same knives used on sandwiches containing meats being stored in the veggies, especially lettuce. If this process could be changed to avoid cross contamination, I would give 5 stars without any doubts. Maybe using different knives and having a different storage method than keeping it in the veggies?

Sandwich was made to order. I got the Italian and it was fine. Better than subway, but definitely a little pricey. $12.46 for a regular Italian with nothing extra added.

I think I need to try the Wreck sandwich next time. It seems like that is the popular sandwich. My last 2 choices were just okay. I downloaded the app because they really do have a wonderful perks program. I got a free cookie after my first order using the app. I chose the pick your pair option and got the Tuna Salad sandwich with the Garden Vegetable soup. I had read somewhere that the tuna salad was the best tuna salad that someone ever had. Well, it was also the saltiest tuna salad. Don’t get me wrong. A little salt is good but I wasn’t in love with this sandwich. The soup was good, and the free Chocolate Brownie cookie was delicious and and so full of dark chocolate. I’m one of those people that experiences that dark chocolate sneeze (photic sneeze reflex) when taking the first bite of dark chocolate. I knew right away that it was a good quality cookie. I love it! I would totally get that cookie again and again.

I am just in love with the meatball subs. This place is amazing. If you haven’t had it. It is definitely a MUST that you give it a try. The pot pie and Mac and cheese are also amazing. I always go through the drive thru and the service remain incredible. I believe her name is Natasha, big shoutout to her. The sandwiches were awful. The bread was soggy – – most sandwich places at least have good bread. We ordered the Mediterranean. The chicken didn’t have any flavor and the toppings were not fresh and they don’t even have olives. Overall it was very bland.

Unfriendly, unclean an underwhelming! Lousy experience, rude staff first time and last time ever going there. Not impressed at all. Sandwiches go through a machine and come out hot so if you think you’re getting the cold sandwich that you wanted on a hot summer day, you’ll be in for a bad surprise cuz the menu doesn’t even warn you. Mention it to an employee and they shrug their shoulders. One of the worst sandwich shops I have ever been to and I have been to a lot! Could have had a better experience and way better service at a Publix or sub shop.
