I had the worst potbelly sandwich I’ve ever had at this location. Proportion of blue cheese to meat was a complete mess and the sandwich was soggy / falling apart. Avoid this potbelly!

Great service, good sandwiches. Parking may be difficult because it’s Chevy Chase so it’s not the best location to meet people unless you’re close by and don’t mind walking. They’re super fast though

This place has consistently given awful service. They’ve lost my order in the middle of making it, taken 10+ minutes to complete an order while I’m the only person in the store (ignoring my food in favor of doing side work) and I once had an employee from the store take my phone number from a mobile order to ask me out. Completely inappropriate. In comparison to other locations, this potbelly also serves the worst quality food. Every time I go hoping for a quick and decent meal I end up leaving furiously.

They are consistently late with online orders, this latest one being 40 minutes late. I suspect they don’t start online orders till you are in-store which completely defeats the purpose. Also, once had them call me and cancel an order because they were out of an ingredient, but I never got refunded even after calling 3 times. Horrible horrible service.

You could not have known what your extra efforts meant to our youngest daughter. Potbelly’s went above and beyond delivering the perfect milkshake to our seven year old. She is going through major dental procedures and today was 3 of 4 visits. And the milkshake was the one and only thing she asked for. Thank you for the extra time to make this special delivery. We are so very appreciative.

I personally got the large Italian and the oreo milkshake. I felt that the oreo milkshake had too much oreo which gave it a sand texture. The sandwich was decent but nothing special. An okay sandwich for an okay price.

My family and I stopped here today for a late lunch. We were excited to try something new but didn’t want to eat to heavy or spend too much money. I have to say, if you are looking for a great sandwich, STOP HERE! The sandwiches are fantastic, in my opinion, and the shakes are very good! I had the original “A Wreak” sandwich on Multigrain bread, with lettuce, hot peppers, pickles, Italian seasoning, mayo and mustard. My wife had the Original Strakhouse Beef sandwich all the way on white bread. Both sandwiches were amazing! We will certainly be back!! Great Job!!

Today was my first time to order (a sandwich/a bowl of soup/ and a shake) from here. I ordered online at 5:06 PM EST to facilitate a quick pickup to be able to get home as soon as possible to my wife who was sick. This is where everything started to go haywire. Apparently, when you order online they have a surcharge of 30 cents that isn’t indicated clearly in your subtotal. 30 cents may not seem much but it shows a company’s transparency with their fees they charge their customers.

worse customer service ever. i had never been to a potbelly before and thought it was more like jimmy johns where you just order a sub up front. so i gave the lady my entire order and grabbed chips and a drink and sat down. i sat in the store for 45 minutes waiting for my sub. the workers never once informed me my sub was just sitting up there and they wanted me to come back up to see if i wanted anything added which i didn’t because i had told the lady my entire sub order up front. the workers just side eyed me then when i went up to ask the other lady about my food she was also rude and i will NEVER come here again. the crew needs an entire overhaul.
