This guy has got “it”! Been there a couple times now and the first time wasn’t a fluke. This place is top notch eats. A great addition to Cottonwood Shores. If you are looking for a phenomenal meal, give it a shot. I highly recommend the jalapeño cheese sausage and the German potato salad. They almost stole the show if the brisket wasn’t so good. We stumbled on this place after a hike, and it was great! The owner was so kind and cared for us well. He even brought water for our dogs! The food was fresh and fantastic. Strongly recommended! Try the homemade peach habañero sauce – great flavor.

First time in and the place was covered with flies. As I ordered, I watched the cook put my meats onto a sheet of paper that was teaming with flies. He didn’t even try to shoo them away like they were a normal common thing. I went to grab some onions but when I lifted the lid, fruit flies swarmed out. Needless to say, I ate the food with GREAT trepidation and it was very good meat wise. I had brisket and jalapeno sausage. Didn’t care for the cole slaw or german potato salad. The price is a little steep as well. It is unfortunate as I love good bbq but I also love sanitary food establishments and this day was not one of them. I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon. Hopefully things will improve for Posse BBQ.

A little pricey compared to my usual place. The pork ribs were tender and moist with a good flavor. The dry rub used is very good. The coleslaw and potato salad were very good.

This place was awesome! The brisket and ribs were super tender and delicious, but the macaroni and cheese was out of this world. I would seriously make the drive from south Austin just for the mac-n-cheese.

Ribs and brisket are first rate. Beef ribs are a bit pricey but sublimely good. Cole slaw a healthy non mayonaise and tasty vinigrette version. I’ll be back.
