Friendly staff, pretty relaxing, spacious atmosphere and the food is decent but maybe a little on the pricey side. Whole specialty pizzas are offered & so are slices. I believe they also deliver if memory serves me right. The pizza slice I had during my most recent visit had a very thin, crisp crust.

Our server was awesome! Super friendly. The food is consistently good. Love their pizza crust! Salads are large. Fish and chips had a nice crispy batter. The cut of fish was a little dense for my liking, but otherwise good.

I’m not often in Montpelier, so when I had the chance to check out this highly recommended joint, I took it. It’s a New York style, thin crust, and it’s pretty good.

I’ve visited Positive Pie on a number of occasions. The price has always been a bit high, but I thought the food was good quality. On my last visit, the toppings were really light and the prices were in the stratosphere. Who can afford this pizza? It’s not lobster and caviar.

We got a poutine and a BLT Proper pizza for take-out at about 7:30 pm. Everything was lukewarm and not properly heated. I say heated because it was obvious none of the food was freshly made: the poutine’s fries were soggy and just warm, and the cheese curds were solid, but not melted, however you could tell that they were melted at some point based on their shape. Horrifyingly, the gravy for said poutine was NOT LIQUID, and was cold. It had the texture of thick oatmeal, and upon tasting to make sure it was supposed to the gravy, it had an overwhelming chicken extract flavor, in a bad way. We ended up eating just the fries—which were actually seasoned well, just not hot—without the gravy. The pizza was disappointing because it had all the right elements, and tasted great, but could have been elevated to another level had it been hot and fresh (the cheese was also not melted for this one).

I asked the server about pricing on the gf pizza. He said yes, the $17 price on the gf crust included 2 regular toppings, 2 sauces, and 3 specialty toppings. It turned out the $17 was only the crust.

Their fish and chips and poutine were on point. They had tasty beverage options of the adult kind. I recommend the poutine as a meal as itself. Coming back soon.

Living in the state of New York, my expectations must be too high. We stopped in this restaurant on Monday afternoon June 26th. We were seated promptly but that was it. The table was tacky, service was very slow in bringing silverware and menus, and when I ordered a beer she brought the wrong one. The salad was tasty, as the salad dressing was very good. However, I expected fresh mozzarella on a caprese salad instead of a slab of pizza mozzarella cut into chunks. And as far as the pizza goes… cheese and mushroom which tasted like frozen cheese and mushroom pizza from a cut rate supermarket. To top it off, she had to be reminded to remove the beer from the bill. Very pricey items for unimpressive food.

They have great pizza and my wife and I would go maybe once or twice a month. We order the same personal pizza and every time the price is different. Last night 25 buck each for two small pizza’s. Not going back

Great pub with special food. Nice atmosphere and many draft beers (different kinds, different flavors) in the beer list. I ate the Positive-Philly, and it was really very good. Menu is very interesting, with pizzas and some other “italian-like” dish.
