Was told 30 min, then told another 15 min, then two more minute. Only to open it and be sorely disappointed- and we were starving by then so no choice but to eat it. But last time we order from there. Couldn’t even grab a slice without everything falling off that one and the others around it. How does the middle of the pizza also have no cheese in places. Everyone was mad at me cuz I was the one who picked this place cuz it was always so delicious.

The food was overpriced for the quality, I order the special pizza and was tasteless, cheese garlic bread was just cheese on a sandwich bun, for dessert a piece of cheese cake that was to thin and taste stale, order a sprite and got a knock off brand, save your money go someplace else

Drive past this place to/from MDW 2-3 times/month for 4+ years. Finally tried it & wasn’t impressed. XL sausage thin pizza. Sauce, cheese & sausage were good… crust on the other hand wasn’t. Much thicker than I expected & had little to no flavor. Definitely not a good example of Chicago tavern style pizza. Was much better cold or room temp, but still nothing that would make me stop again…

Their thin crust is like a regular crust at most places. The pizza was fine. Nothing special. Their sauce isn’t anything special. Ingredients tasted fresh but the sausage portion was lacking as you can see in the picture. It’s like 1 chuck of sausage per slice. . Their calamari and breaded mushrooms are probably the only things I will frequent the place for because those are actually better than most places. I recommend if you never ordered from here before don’t go for a huge pizza . Try a small size and see if you like it first because like I said before it’s not anything special it’s just an overall OK pizza compared to the other establishments in the area.

Welcoming friendly, energetic staff. This is definitely the spot to swing by when craving a slice of pizza (HUGE SLICES)! So yummy! Their prices are reasonable. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners and I must say they are genuinely friendly and seem to care for their staff. Always highly recommend Positano’s Pizza to my dear friends and family.
