This was our first time at Positano’s. We usually go to a different pizza place in Deland and they were closed today.

Hailey our waitress is a gem! She was so attentive and sweet, we even watched her help an older woman outside and give her water during this heat wave. They even allowed us to eat inside with our puppy to cool off and brought her a bowl of cold water. The service was above and beyond and the food was sooo delicious! We could smell the freshly baked pizzas down the block!! For three of us and drinks it was an affordable 40$. I highly recommend this place and it will forever be on my favorites list when visiting this historic downtown strip! THANK YOU Positano for keeping us cool and fed today ❤️!!!!

It’s not a big place, quite small and really nice. Also our waitress was really cute and nice! I had the pizza Margherita and my mother-in-law had the veggie pizza with extra cheese. I am so glad we went here, first of all, italian at it’s best, the pizza was so yummy. Not like American-Italian, oily and tasteless, but like European Italian. 2nd, they have COFFEE. That’s a big plus in my book. Cappuccino even! I would recommend!

This is the BEST PIZZA I’ve ever had. I’m from CT and my hubby from NJ, and this place has legit pizza! Amazing crust, not greasy, and absolutely delicious sauce. Meatballs are good! The waitress was great and owner a super sweet Italian man with amazing old family recipes. The whitewashed brick interior is cool with a neat view of a large mural painting. Prices were very fair. My only regret is that I didn’t get dessert! We’ll be back!

The pizza came out quickly with a crisp thin crust and very plain tomato sauce that you could season yourself with the garlic/herbs on the table. The restaurant is very quiet as there in no music playing so you feel like you can hear everyone’s conversations. I’ve had better pizza and worse. If you’re hungry it will get the job done but I wouldn’t seek this place out.

The best personal pizza ever! We were greeted when we walked in, the smell of garlic and pizza baking was hard to miss. The pizza was hot out of the oven and delicious. The flavor was amazing. Thank you!

Don’t know why this place doesn’t seem busier. Their pizza is really solid. Thin crust, NY style, really good. Pizza is expensive; $30 for a large, but it is a true large. I’d drop the price $7 a pie probably get a lot more traffic. Awesome dining room set up. I’ll eat here again.

Food was so fresh and delicious! All fresh ingredients and homemade from scratch. Our waitor was very knowledgeable of the restaurant and so friendly! The owner thanked us for coming and gave us a complimentary desert. We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this great place!

I was expecting regular Italian American food but this is Italian Italian food. Two of us shared fresh calamari, salad, the ravioli special, and tiramisu. Everything was superb. Our server was the best we’ve had in, well forever. The owner came to our table to chat. This is a casual restaurant with fine dining food and good wine by the glass. Oh, and the bread was great and in an interesting pointy shape.
