Funky little spot on the bottom of building. It’s actually located on the bottom of the Waverley condominiums. Although it’s a restaurant it doesn’t have full restaurant vibes for bit more like a lounge, they also do hookah here and there’s also a DJ in the back corner what you could easily mess spinning music. It is definitely a local spot for residence at the building.

We absolutely loved Sushi John! The service is amazing and we could not believe how exciting it was to see food set on fire and it was all a chemical reaction. Delicious food and everything was on time and on point. We were able to relax and laugh so much. Thank you Matthew Carlos for an ultimate experience and your joyful disposition. My recent visit to the posh sushi bar left me with mixed feelings. While the ambiance and food were delightful, I couldn’t help but be disappointed by the rude behavior of the bartender. Throughout my time at the bar, the bartender seemed disinterested and dismissive, making me feel unwelcome.

This is one of my new favorite hookah spots! My husband was planning a date night and took me here and I’m obsessed! The environment is very zen and laid back. This lounge has sushi which is also AMAZING! Not to mention the hookah is very smooth and they have some good flavors to choose from. To drink I ordered the spiked blueberry lemonade. And my husband ordered strawberry henny. To eat we ordered chicken tempura rolls which were delicious! The presentation of the food was very decorative and cute! The staff is also friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back! ♥️

Omg I’m in town visiting from New Orleans where I am a sushi LOVER!! Lemme tell you, this place gave the best sushi experience I’ve ever had! The flaming posh, Mexican roll, hurricane roll and the red dragon all left my mouth watering for more! I wanted to try every roll on the menu!! On top of that, the drinks were good and the hookah was the smoothest and delicious hookah I’ve had. They are a bit pricey but we’ll worth it! Makes me want to move here just for this place!!’ ALSO , the ambience was so relaxing and the service was top tier! Give them a visit!!!!

Thier Flaming Posh roll is out of this world, amazing!! And that’s no exaggeration. They flambée it right at your table, and you wait about 3 minutes for the flames to go down before you can eat. It’s a signature roll unique to this restaurant that you won’t find anywhere else, and now I understand why people would drive from near and far just to eat here. We also got a Dragon Roll, and another roll (can’t remember the name at the moment) but they were delicious as well! Perfect spot for a date night, it’s intimate and cozy. Best sushi experience ever.

WOW. The Food. The Ambiance. The Unique Rolls. Just wow! I had their signature roll (forgot what it’s called, but it’s the roll that’s set on fire). It was delicious! One of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had! That roll is a must try!

One of my favorite new sushi spots. Wow it did not disappoint. Highly recommend the Mexican Roll Yellowtail avocado roll with blistered serrano peppers and Sriracha. Hamachi is so much better than what I get in CT.
