Last night we went to the Windham ME location after traveling from Boston to Portland to our final location. We had placed an order to go online, and there were some type of system glitch we had paid for the order but it didn’t get made. The general manger, Kate M came out and talked to us. She provided the absolute BEST customer service I’ve had in a long time she went above and beyond to correct the mishap. She was able to get the situation fixed in 15ish minutes on a very hectic Friday night. She got our order to be remade and bumped us to the top of list and gave us a drink on the house while we waited. She had the most professional demeanor and she really did want to make it right, unlike many other places where they would have been apathetic to it. Things happen that our out of our control esp with computers but she still went above and beyond to make things right.

Ordered 2 pizzas at 6pm, picked them up and got home to find one was incorrect (just cheese) and burnt. We called and they offered to remake the correct pizza. We asked for it to be delivered. At 8pm called in to ask where it was…was told ‘it is out for delivery now’. At 9:10 we called back asking where is the pizza? The Manager insited it was delivered. Obviously, common sense says if we are calling to ask where it is, it was NOT delivered. The Windham Portland Pie needs a better Manager and lessons in customer service and quality. The level of incompetence there is outstanding.

I’m visiting from Colorado and my family wanted pizza. I am very lactose intolerance and I must say your Vegan cheese option is impressively delicious! I’m happy to be able to enjoy a meal with my family that should have dairy. You were so accommodating with my allergy needs and it’s some of the best Vegan cheese I’ve ever had. 10 stars.

Bamboo
The atmosphere is pleasant but the food was disappointing. There are several vegan/vegetarian options which is great, but the salads didn’t seem that fresh. The other items like burgers and pasta were average. Our waitress was friendly but slow, and didn’t check on our food or bother to ask if we wanted a replacement or take something off the bill that was inedible. I probably wouldn’t recommend this place.

I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese and it was excellent; the only spot in the area to get vegan pizza. Good customer service. I ordered takeout, but the restaurant had a friendly atmosphere.

At one time we liked this place, but the labor crisis has ruined it. In the same amount of time that we sat at the bar without even being looked at, let alone served- o er 5 minutes, we were able to drive to Rustlers, and and get a couple beers.

Ordered medium cheese pizza. When we opened the box there was a big puddle of grease on the pizza. I know, most likely from the cheese. We took pizza back into restaurant and, rather than apologize and show some customer service, they said they could cook another pizza with less cheese. We declined that offer and kept the pizza. I have eaten many cheese pizzas and never had one that looked like this. Will not be ordering from here again.

Tired of spending Portland prices for Lewiston quality. The wait staff is excellent and always kind, bartenders are fantastic; but I go for the food and it’s failed me for the third time in a row. Called in at 3:15pm, was given a 30 minute pickup window, and paid for precisely at 3:45pm. Large Nor’Easter Buffalo? Cold. Small Crescent Beach? Cold. My third strike here isn’t just for cold pie’s, but toppings left off our small. Which, unfortunately, tonight’s order isn’t the first time it has happened. I hate typing this for my beloved Portland Pie Company; but it’s starting to look like Windham is the location to avoid.

The caprese sandwich is so unbelievably delicious. I almost felt undeserving of such an incredible sandwich. I would describe the experience of eating this sandwich as ethereal & heavenly. If you’re going through a rough patch this sandwich is sure to pull you out of it with its scrumptious grip.
