Was our first time here, let them know that when ordering cuz we had a few questions and were curious about what they would recommend, but the cashier didn’t seem to care to answer questions at all, just rushed us along and spoke so softly you couldn’t really hear him over the loud music. Was not impressed with the hot dog– mine was made wrong, the bun was soggy and had so much relish on it you couldn’t taste anything else (seriously that relish is STRONG!!) and was squished and rolled into foil. We also tried the fries with cheese sauce (bomb sauce!), onion rings (they were ok, not the kind with fat juicy onion inside) and chocolate cake shake (which we all shared a small cuz was really sweet but super yummy!!) The atmosphere was nice, and the decorations inside were pretty cool. Will only go back cuz my kiddo likes hot dogs, but I’ll def be sticking to a salad in the future

It could be considered fast food they are quick, for sure, but not in a way where they just throw things together and chuck it in a bag for you. You also don’t eat here, like other fast food places where you forget and dismiss what you ate 20 minutes after eating it. Yes, they’re fast,but also accurate, detailed and careful about how they put together their flavors and ingredients. They bake their breads daily, and I assume they are picking up quality products to serve, because I can taste the difference when compared with other places. Fast and tasty. I usually only ever give fast food joints a 3 star but Portillo’s my friend you are more than fast and filling…You…Are….Good.

Food is absolute garbage. We have been here twice, and we were highly disappointed with food both times. I ordered the Big Italian Beef… no flavor at all. It’s like all they do is boil the beef. My wife had the 2 hot dogs and admitted that the Costco hot dogs are better. How is this place so popular?? What a waste of $32. We could have gone to Casino Arizona, and each had a juicy, flavorful roast beef sandwich with a bag of chips and a pickle spear for $5 each.
