Wasn’t what I expected but was very happy with what we had over all. Was seated at 630 on a Friday night with no wait and loved the atmosphere of a brewpub. Our server Evan was very attentive and gave us recommendations of beers and items to try. There is a kids menu and the food was excellent pub grub. I had a fantastic sandwich and a beer that was different than I am used to, their beer selection is local and always changing. Would definitely come back.

Should give one star. Actually I think I will. Walked in girl at the bar said sit anywhere you want. Did not look too busy. After a while brought our menu’s. Then nothing… The girl at the bar was talking to some guy having one beer. We both wanted that and dinner. After get angry and ready to walk out the girl stopped talking to beer guy and came to take our order. Food was well below average. The new Dog Haus is way better. Waited to get the bill since I gave up on getting another beer. Lived here 4 years now never went here. Thought I would give it a try. Done!

If there was a place where I would go every week to just unwind, this would be it. We have been there 3 times since May and it is the same top quality and same top service. The beers, the food, the onion rings, the burgers, the pasta, the tacos, all of them, sooooo good!!! Worth every penny and…excellent customer service!

After reading all the reviews, I had high expectations. Porter’s House of Draft is a pub like atmosphere. It’s dark with TV screens spread throughout the pub. It would be a great place to get together with the guys. It’s not an ideal date or family spot. The beer is cold, the air conditioning is blasting and there’s plenty of sports to watch on TV. The chicken tenders and fries were pub quality. They carry local beers, which is a huge plus. I normally offer recommendations, but Porter’s House of Draft is a guy’s place and they are fulfilling that niche quite well. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Disappointed because the burger was a frozen Patty that I can buy at Costco too. Waitress was awkward and didn’t know what a pint glass was. Pretzels were ok and one of the dipping sauces was the only saving grace.

I loved the manager that sat us down wherever we wanted. She was welcoming and humorous. Great selection of beers. Great onion rings, as seen on other reviews. I had yummy nachos and a great stout. Very clean place with some added makeshift outdoor dining. We will return.
