This place has gone downhill fast, it’s so disappointing. Last time we ate in they were out of spinach, tomato, and onion. How can you have a sandwich when you’re out of all those ingredients?

The staff at this location are very nice. I placed an online order for a sub and they didn’t have the meat I wanted so they called me right away. I was offered extra meat on the changed order. I appreciate it this very much! The sandwich was great.

Worst customer service I’ve had in a while. We live in Ferndale, just had a little girl 10 days ago. We had been craving port of subs for the last couple weeks. We made our first trip out of the house with our newborn and our 4 year old son tonight to finally satisfy that craving. We get to the restaurant and there’s a sign up on the door saying you won’t take in store orders tell 7pm, it’s 6:20 at this moment. We walk in to ask what that’s about and hear that you guys took a huge phone order and could no longer deal with the customers you had in person. Next thing I see you guys actually took a woman’s order cause she complained she had ice in here car. Look if you’re gonna take 1 order, you got to deal with the others in the store. My wife and I standing there with our newborn and 4 year old, couldn’t believe it. Also you got a put a limit on orders that are called in, someone shouldn’t be able to call in and ask for 40 suns and get them within the hour. Orders like that should be handled differently. Hoping next time we make the trip from Ferndale we’ll have the exact opposite experience than we had tonight, it was unbelievable

Like subway but better. I got a ham, turkey and provolone on sourdough. They have different bread options available; white, wheat and wraps. Didn’t really see a spot to eat in, so took it to go and ate in my car. Sandwich was good, a little messy and I forgot to grab napkins.

I have to be honest and say that Port of Subs is…okay. It really is okay. I had a BBQ chicken hot sub. The sandwich was adequate, the chicken tasted fine, nothing was really wrong or right with it. It was very bland. The service was kind of painful, and seemed to lack initiative. My mom had a sandwich herself, and was finished before my sandwich. In this, we were rung up and paid for before my sandwich was done and they didn’t even give my mom her sandwich, saying they thought it was an online order. After only eating a half of my 12″ sub, we decided to purchase a double chocolate cookie. Big flop. It was stale and lacked the chocolatey goodness we were expecting.

I just had the most outstanding turkey bacon avocado sandwich of my life. The sandwich lady who made it (Petra) was extremely fast, careful, and somehow made a to-go sandwich shop sub taste better than any other I’ve had. I was impressed by all the staff, but I definitely plan to come back based on Petra’s excellent service.
