I wanted a nice breakfast spot to eat at, but the majority of them had an hour wait. We decided to try Port of Call due to it having several options to choose from. First off, Casey provided excellent services for us. We had 2 older people with us who wouldn’t be able to climb the stairs and informed us we could use the elevator. We couldn’t find it, and he eventually had to take us there to the front of the building. The food was delicious.

Port of Call Food + Brew Hall is a nice place for a quick and tasty meal. One of the things that stood out to me was that they are dog-friendly inside, which is a big plus in my book. And there were plenty of picnic-style tables upstairs.

This is such a cool concept. I don’t think alot of locals know about it but I could be wrong. It was packed when we went but that’s to be expected because it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Live band, bar, outdoor seating and inside seating. I would definitely visit again.

So great to have a food hall in the middle of a busy, touristy area. The outside area has a great atmosphere if you can get some shade in the afternoon sun (5 stars). The service at the outside bar can be described as indifferent (3 stars). The service at the indoor bar was pure attitude (0 stars). Food counter workers were very pleasant (Taco Art and Pineapple Hut – 5 stars). The seating area upstairs is somewhere we wouldn’t choose to be in again (1 star). Seems really closed in with no atmosphere (the restaurant up there should have a half wall or something to open the space up, and the space for a pool table is a waste), but the bigger issue was all the dogs. Almost every table except ours had dogs with them. On a super hot day, the last thing I want is to be surrounded by wet, smelly dogs slurping water and sniffing at me at my table while I eat. I’m not sure why dogs are inside an eating area? We aren’t from Charleston or SC, so maybe that’s common for dogs to be in restaurants? Clean bathrooms.

Casual pub with a few food kiosks. Beer selection was great and bartender was very friendly. Try the Cherry water ice sour ale. Amazing and it was so hot, the stop was a refreshing and needed one. It’s location right across from the Market and blessedly air conditioned but there was also a great outdoor area that had live music even early afternoon which is when we visited.

Amazing experience every time I go! The food is always great, lots of variety. The bartender Dustin and pat along with the rest of the outside bar crew make for such a great time. Always knowledgeable and fun. The music and vibes overall make for one of my favorite places in Charleston. 10/10 recommend

Such a cool venue and vibe. Great food choices inside, the bar outside had a great drink selection and PLENTY of seating. Dog friendly outdoors as long as they are leashed and the owners are well behaved 😀 Will absolutely be going back for more Greek food from Bapko
