This hole in the wall place is great! Tiffany is a great server. Tim is the chef and actually came to our table and asked if our food was good. Food was served hot and delicious and in a timely manner. Prices were lower than expected and they have great variety to their menu. I cant wait for an excuse to come back.

If you’re looking for a good meal and time spent with others, look for a different venue. While people’s drinks were delivered in a timely manner, the food was much slower, and unfortunately it did not taste great. The crinkle fries were not very good. The pork tenderloin sandwich, though, was actually pretty good. The venue was loud on a Friday night, but would probably be better on a weekday.

Great experience tonight at The Porthole Inn! We were able to get a table quickly although it was busy. The service was spot on and the food was great. We had the catfish dinner and a cheese burger and onion rings and all was great. Live music and good beer. Great start to a Saturday night. Thanks Porthole staff for another great experience!

Outstanding hidden gem. It’s tough to beat a good lakeside dive bar and this one is definitely tough to beat! Great food, good service and nice atmosphere. The only thing that would have made it better would be a lake view dining/drinking option.

Freshly renovated, it looks great over there! We just tried it for the first time, since they got new owners and fixed it up. The drinks are really pretty, the pizza was amazing and we enjoyed everything we got. My only little qualm was I wish that they had added more vegetarian stuff when they released the new menu, but I heard a rumor that you might be able to ask for a veggie burger. We were excited about the pizza the next time we go I might try the veggie burger trick and see what happens. Excited to continue to recommend this place, right in our own neighborhood!

1st let me say that the food was very good. We had a very large group about 30 people and to speed things along well went to the cashier to place our order. Because of current health issues they have experienced staff issues like other companies.

Wonderful new atmosphere, Dad said catfish dinner was fantastic. Porthole burger was really good but if you ask for grilled onions on it, ya ger about 8 little pieces of onion so don’t waste the extra cost.

It took a bit to get our food, but they were short staffed and it was very busy! My sister got the catfish and I had the chocolate martini and the sausage stromboli and we shared fried pickles it was all very yummy and we’ll definitely be going back!
