We got take out from the restaurant on Bridge St before tonight and it was okay. Slow service and too much sugar in beans and bbq sauce. Then tonight, we bought dinner from them at the Summer Stroll and we’ll never do it again.They charge a LOT of money for slow service and cold food. We watched while the owner cooked the food as it was ordered! At a street fair! Very poor planning. So if we waited 30 minutes for our order why was it all cold?!

I love love love the food! Big portions. The Mac and cheese is incredible. The owners are so sweet and kind! I hope they reopen soon, they’re out only good bbq in town. Definitely one of my favorite local family owned businesses to support. Go check them out!!!

My husband and I drove from Sacramento to Yuba just to check out this place. When you got there the lady at the counter greet us and took our order. She was so nice and sweet, when the food was ready she took it to our car. Customer service is great and the food is amazing! We will come back with the rest of the family. The meat was cooked very well. The sauce, multiple stages of heat, very tasty. The Greens were like grandma used to make. Only down side was the potato salad and slaw tasted under expectations. Overall a very nice experience. Order family style serving at a very respectful price.

Very tasty everything! Got a Queen Platter plus every side dish and dessert available. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and extremely good. Called the order in, and all was ready at the time stated. It’s worth a trip and a tip 😉 I’m a southern girl and their bbq smoked meats are a real treat, and the pecan pie and peach cobbler were perfect confections. Next time, it’ll be a King Tut Platter and more of the desserts. Yes, it’s all that good, right here in Yuba City = yum

Got some ribs, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. The ribs were pre cut not on a rack and we’re definitely not fully cooked. They were chewy and really disgusting. The Mac and cheese feel like I’m eating chalk. In the restaurant, the workers weren’t wearing masks and didn’t enforce mask wearing for any of the customers who were packed into the building like sardines. $35 for 12 ribs that were disappointing. Not coming back.

We got the mini party platter. Five meats in a medium sauce. My 2 year old loves spicy food, and she was digging on the mac and cheese. The BBQ was so tender, tasty, and wonderful. We may need their ribs on a daily basis.

Hubby and I got food from here today for the first time. Service was amazing so friendly and welcoming and the food was to for die for. We got ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and tri tip. Plus green beans, Mac and cheese, collard greens, and Coleslaw. We would have to recommend it all. Portions were so big and everything was so delicious. We will definitely be back for more soon.

Hands down the best bbq place I’ve ever been to, blows Dickeys right out of the water! Get the mini- its more than enough for 2. The owner is incredibly kind too, you can tell he takes alot of pride in what he does – and it really shows, the food is fantastic. Super happy I found this hidden gem!
