Food was fine, but not worth $16. I was really expecting to be wowed for the price but it’s just a bun out of a bag, meat out of a bucket, and some sauce from the counter. Sides like Mac & cheese are another $6. The one woman working seemed inconvenienced by me.

Having a 4 hour layover in the middle of the day I thought I would give this place a try. Certainly smelled good.

Smelled great but was AWFUL! No flavor meat. Poor poor service, 4 people stand around while you order and don’t listen, make you speak 4 times what you want. After paying, person behind me (airline stewardess) asked if the fries were fresh or been sitting a while. The woman said, with notable stress, they’ve been here A WHILE. I bought brisket sandwich and fries… threw it in the trash after 1 bite. DO NOT EAT HERE

I read the reviews and was skeptical, but I still gave it a try.

Just got brisket and mac & cheese pre-flight. I should have known when all other restaurants had a line and this place had no line. I took a chance. I am sorry I did. The brisket had zero flavor other than the BBQ sauce they loaded on. The mac & cheese was the worst cheese sauce soup with boiled shells I have EVER had. Worst yet, rude, less than friendly employees to serve brisket $16.49 and mac $5.49. Never again.

They were out of 1/3 of the sandwich menu, 1/3 of the bbq sauces, mac and cheese, and beer which is about half of their menu. The employees didn’t apologize for this and there were no signs posted about these being unavailable so I didn’t even know untill they were already making my sandwich. They gave me a hard time when I kindly suggested turning off the huge TV screen advertising the beer so people don’t wait in line for it only to be disappointed.

Not the friendliest staff. I asked how much brisket comes in the sandwich and the first guy told me 1 pound which sounded too good to be true. When he asked his coworkers, they said “I don’t know”. And then one of them told me “it’s a 1 inch spoon”. Needless to say that they only convinced me to not spend my time or money there.

It’s a bit pricey, I ordered 2 pork sandwiches and 1 order of fries and my total was a little over $40. However the sandwich was delicious and the fries where hot. Note: I ordered from Chicago Midway Airport. I expect the prices to be higher at the airport however $17 for just the sandwich is a lot. I paid it and again thankful it was tasty and fresh.

Employees are rude. They had no sides either. Can’t take cash. Try putting up a sign, you could save yourselves a lot of grief. Maybe then the employees wouldn’t be so worn out and rude. Pulled pork was soggy but tasted ok. Chipotle BBQ sauce was good.

AWLFUL. Pork had a funky, peculiar taste, did not taste smoked at all. Bun cold and not toasted. Fries cold and limp. But the worst part was the rudeness of the two counter girls – both bored and unenthusiastic. One actually was yelling at customers to move to the register. $27.00 total bill NEVER AGAIN.
