Oh my, lots to say about this place. I sat at the bar and got asked what I wanted to eat literally 5 times after having my menu for 2 minutes. I know they want to rush people out, but give me a chance to look at the menu! Also, the prices are a bit ridiculous.. $20 for an omelet?! Then, I started to look around and was actually disturbed with what I saw. I don’t know how this place is still in business! It’s absolutely disgusting!! Not one of the 5 workers there wore gloves and they touched ALL the food with their bare hands, and I not once saw any of them wash their hands. Then, I noticed they just have a bucket of raw bacon sitting by the grill, not covered or anything. The one woman grabbed a bunch of pieces to put them on the grill, dropped a few pieces on the stove area, and threw it back in the bucket. And again, didn’t wash her hands afterwards. Then, I noticed that they cook EVERYTHING right next to each other on the grill. We got a blueberry muffin, the woman cut it and put it on the grill, right in bacon grease from the bacon she was cooking next to it, then she squished it down with her barehands, and picked it up to put on a plate and give it to us. She then made the eggs, sausage, bacon and chocolate chip pancakes all together. They also used the same spatula to flip the sausage, then flip the eggs, then flip the bacon, then flip the pancakes. If you’re vegetarian, STEAR CLEAR of this place! Pictures attached. Just beyond disgusting and this place must have so many violations!

Lovely American Diner. Staff are really friendly and the food is freshly made to order. Caters for food allergies also which is a real bonus.

Food was good, but the flies outweighed the ambience. When asked about the flies, the waitress said she told the manager, but he had nothing to do. Not even a flyswatter or some bug spray. What a waste.

Make sure you arrive hungry. The portions are large, fresh and satisfying.

Coffee was great and got an Avacado toast. For some reason my toast didn’t have any sesame seeds etc which I didn’t check until I reached the park. Lovely messages on the wall, loved the ambience

What a wonderful old town charm of a breakfast nook. The staff was very nice and welcoming with Sunday morning smiles. The food was good, really hit the spot. I look forward to returning making it my weekend go to.

A friend introduced my husband and I to delicious sandwiches from Poppy”s diner. My husband could not get enough of the Tuna Melt. We knew we had to go. We were not disappointed. The service was wonderful and the food was delightful. We had the soup and sandwich combo, tuna melt and chicken salad which was highly recommended and did not disappoint. What topped it off was the vanilla shake! The best I’ve had in a long time. Will be returning to try the breakfast soon!

Excellent service, smiling faces and delicious food. Family owned and operated fresh food. Try the pumpkin pancakes, fall special menu!

Meh. Old school, local dive of a diner. Exactly what I was looking for, but didn’t quite meet expectations. Ordered the French toast with a side of home fries. Both were disappointing. French toast was tasty but soggy. Home fries were tasteless. Servers were friendly and attentive and the coffee was good. Maybe I should have gone with an egg sandwich.
