We got married here in July 2021 and it will always be one of our most favorite days. First of all Jennifer Perry is an angel on earth. She helped us every step of the way and ended up becoming a dear friend. We worked together for almost 2 years since we ended up having to postpone our wedding originally planned for LDW 2020 due to covid. It was a time filled with a lot of unknowns and our only constant was Jennifer. In the end everything worked out wonderfully and we along with our guests had the absolute best time. Not only did we work closely with Jennifer on the planning but on the actual day of the wedding, Jennifer literally helped with everything. She assisted the bar, helped with the table set up, helped with my veil, and made sure everything was set up exactly how her and I discussed. If you have the opportunity to work with Jennifer for your Wedding Day it is such a privilege, she is fantastic!! She will do anything she can to be as accommodating as possible.

Outstanding setting, food, drinks, service and atmosphere. My wife and I had an excellent view of sunset from our dinner table. It comes with a price but go ahead and treat yourself- and a someone special. Looks like a great place for a wedding party in a gigantic tent on the beach. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had the most magical wedding experience at the Poppy this weekend! Chelsea was positively the best Wedding Coordinator possible. She was extremely thoughtful, thorough, patient, attentive, helpful and lovely throughout the entire planning process and the wedding day itself. All of our needs were attended to by Chelsea.. she had everything figured out and planned for us before we even asked. Her staff was also fabulous. Such a spectacular property, oceanic scene with scrumptious food, beautiful beach roses, and the most helpful staff ever. Thank you Chelsea for creating the wedding of our dreams for us.

My husband and I got married at The Poppy this past July, with Chelsea as our venue coordinator. She was THE. ABSOLUTE. BEST. We had so many questions throughout the whole process… literally from our first time touring the venue all the way up to the day before the wedding. Chelsea was so kind and informative, and she got back to us in a timely manner every single time. She went above and beyond in so many ways— I will never forget her staying down on the beach with me in the dark, single-handedly doing up my complex double bustle after our sunset pictures were finished, because my bridesmaids didn’t do it correctly the first time. The actual wedding day was perfectly organized by Chelsea and the rest of the New Seabury staff— every aspect of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went according to plan. There were even small surprises on the day-of that we weren’t expecting… a New Seabury staff member was assigned to me for the entire day to help with anything from straightening my train before I walked down the aisle to making sure I had a drink in my hand the entire reception. Another surprise we weren’t expecting was being greeted with a champagne cheers on the beach for us, our parents, and every single person in our bridal party after our processional out of the ceremony. We did “The Grand” buffet for dinner, and our friends and family still bring up how good the food was every time we reminisce on the wedding. We also had a lot of guests with various food allergies, and the chef/waitstaff were accommodating with alternative food options, and also informing our guests of which foods contained allergens, when asked. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue and experience than what we received at The Poppy, we highly recommend it!!!
