I absolutely love their Spicy Chicken and the Cajun Gravy is one of the best I ever had including Thanksgiving Gravy. The Chicken was practically right out of the fryer as it almost burned my mouth and this was at noon on a Friday, so they pretty much sold all their Chicken since they opened up for that day. I have yet to try their sandwich which I bet is just as satisfying. Cannot wait to go back.

I ordered two boxes of chicken and one box of tenders + sides. I was sent home with two boxes of tenders despite being charged for all of them and when I checked the receipt I saw I was also charged for chicken wings that I didn’t order or receive. At least they got the sides right? I tried to call twice but it just went to voicemail, which was full. I’m so pissed I lost my appetite and don’t even want to eat what food they managed to give me.

Food comes out very fast mouth they always seem understaffed. AND the poor poor employees always seem SO depressed. Like for the past two years. It’s borderline concerning. The food I good though lol chicken sandos from there are a hard pass. Haaaaard pass. Don’t eat those. But DO get the biscuits and ask for honey. Also ots annoying they don’t just give you honey with your meal. A bit shpendy honestly for what you get

I went to the Popeyes in Slo two nights ago with my friends and every-time I go it’s the same two cashiers working and I always have the same experience. I’m not one who writes bad reviews especially because I’ve also worked in the fast food industry in the past but at least I know how to act professional at my job even if I hate it. The other night, the two guys were giving judge-mental stares, one of the guys didn’t even finish taking my order, walked away to go talk to his friend, and they didn’t even put my order together until my friends finished eating their food and I had to go up there to ask for my food which he then put together on spot. And while I was eating my food I heard them complaining about only getting a $5 tip and that no-ones tipping them…I wonder why. Maybe if you guys acted professional and knew how to do your job correctly then maybe you’ll get tipped more.
