I am one of the sides prep cook for evening shift. Our restaurant is a crew member establishment in which all employees move around to help when short handed. The food is excellent. I am not rating it good just because I am a employee. I am also a patron who eats there on my days off. Like presently I am currently off because I am on vacation for grandkids graduations in California and plan to eat at Popeyes out here. If you visit Alamogordo NM be sure to check our Popeyes out on S. Whitesands Blvd.

This location seems to be terminaly understaffed causing it to be the slowest fast food available in Alamogordo. 9/10 my to go order has been incorrect and, If I didn’t notice before leaving the window, correcting the problem requires another long wait in line either inside or out. Twice my online order was filled incorrectly, only to be told after returning that they where out of that item…information that could have been better given when I collected my order from the drive thru. The staff have usually been pleasant, but I would not recommend this location for speed or accuracy.

Popeyes GREAT chicken poor everything else.. spending $35 on food just to receive half your order. Seems the few times I have gone here to eat they always miss a item or 2 or 3. I get it gets busy but professionalism is where you want to be. KFC hardly ever misses an item how is it they can stay on top of that but you cant? I have other people telling me about items they been missing too. Seems like people are being robbed here. Till this is fixed I will be checking my order completely before I leave, even if it hurts your window time.

Friendly people working the drive thru. Had to wait about 30 minutes for my mobile order to be ready and was missing several items once I got it. Cup says 1973 on it.. amazing, they can stay open that long with such mediocre food. How can they even label that bland chicken as “spicy”?

Ordered a 5 piece blackened chicken tender combo then waited almost twenty minutes In line and only got 5 regular tenders. It said blackened on the menu it said it on my receipt so I know your employees inside saw what they were supposed to be, and had plenty of time to cook fresh ones if you guys were out. Chicken was as expected. Service was friendly but cashier was obviously still learning the ropes. Ordered something seemingly simple but with the ordering system they have it didn’t fit in their boxes so gave her some difficulty figuring it out. Would have thought 2 thighs and 1 leg, 3 biscuits and an iced tea would be a simple order. Of course on my first attempt at ordering I asked for 3 pieces of dark chicken and was asked if I wanted breasts or wings so I may be giving her more benefit of the doubt than I should.

Food takes waaayyyy too long, everyone sits in drive through line for what feels like forever, to the point where people end up just leaving. Quality of food isn’t that great either, every time I’ve been the chicken is as small as possible. And EVERY TIME, they give me unsweetened tea when i ask for sweet tea. Definitely not worth the time or money to go and wait for the food.
