Went through the drive thru around 2pm. It wasn’t busy at all. The chicken sandwich was fresh. It was handed to me with no bag or napkins… the trash can in the parking lot was overflowing into the street.

Almost 30 minutes in line waiting for an online order. Asked for cajun sparkle, didn’t get it. Got home to find the chicken was old, stale and terrible. Also we were shorted a few strips. The red beans and rice was pretty bad too. The Biscuits were ok. Still waiting for a refund. $32 wasted.

We have never had good service here, but we decided to try it again. We didn’t get what we ordered. The chicken was mild instead of spicy. It was extremely dry. Tasted like it had been over cooked, and cooked with old oil, or had been sitting there all day. We got macaroni and cheese instead of mashed potatoes. The macaroni was more like macaroni soup with clumps of cheese. The red beans and rice was also soupy and not good. Cole slaw and biscuits were the only things that tasted good. Called the store, they couldn’t care less. Called area manager, who did not act concerned. She did offer to refund my money, however. Will never go back to that location. Hope they close down.

The server took 10 minutes just to take my order. They have no A/C, it’s hot, it’s humid, and it’s greasy. I got chicken tenders and it took over 20 minutes to be ready and they were all burnt and hard. Never again will I come to this Popeyes. Be aware!

Long wait in the drive thru lane. Other cars were leaving the lone after getting to speaker. Ordered an 8 piece family meal with fries. They had to check if they had chicken to even complete the 8 piece. Evetually got 8 pieces of overcooked chicken. The fries were only a handful in a family size tray. I’m sure the workers did their best cuz it seems like the issues would’ve been solved by good management.

I went to Popeyes on Coulter about 2 weeks ago I spent $35 on trash !! I got it to go and when I got home the chicken was over cooked almost burned and the red beans and rice dry . I wanted to take it back but i live on other side of town. So I been calling that place to complain. I will never buy from that Popeyes again!! I ended up throwing it in trash! THE BEST POPEYES IN AMARILLO IS ON ARDEN RD AND BELL.

Food was not like other locations have been before. Not as fresh and during a busy time that’s odd. Staff was busy cleaning booths and had most of area taped off, so seating was limited. Again, during busy time, a bit odd. Wanted gravy and not a “dipping sauce” so that cost extra. Not sure why and personally don’t get the whole “up charging” for something that obviously goes with the meal to complete the whole food expierence but I will go elsewhere if I get nicked and dime’d over gravy.

A month ago we got chicken to go at the Popeyes on Coulter and when we got home the chicken was old, tough like leather and not fit eat – you could not chew it!!!! Today I had a coupon for a 14 piece family dinner – the coupon DID NOT specify tenders or chicken. I ordered chicken to go and the lady told me I could only get tenders because she couldn’t ring up chicken at that price!!! So I got the tenders and when we got home this chicken is OLD!!!! It is awful and not fit to eat!!! It has apparently been under the heat lamp all day as the chicken has turned black- it isn’t burnt just sat way too long under the lamp!!! This is absolutely frustrating!!! Never will I ever buy from this location again!! Or can recommend them to anyone!!

Horribly slow. I was at the drive thru waiting to place my order. The cashier told me she would be with me in a moment. I waited. Two cars pulled up behind me. Time passed. One of the cars behind me drove away, went across the street to Freddie’s. Then the other car behind me drove away. I said hello?, thinking I had been forgotten. The cashier asked me to wait. I started trying to calculate how long I had been waiting. Two songs played on the radio for sure. Finally, I said hello? again. The cashier replied “I’m sorry for your wait.” I said “right, I’ve been waiting 10 minutes.” Cashier replied “no, you’ve been waiting just over 7 minutes.” I asked “do you think 7 minutes is acceptable? Two cars behind me left. And I almost left.” Cashier: “you can do that, I’m busy. Or I can hand you off to my manager.” The manager who thinks 10 minute wait times are acceptable? No thank you.I drove across the street to Freddies!

We got drive through so we didn’t visit inside the store. Service was AMAZING compared to other Popeyes in town. Good was fresh and not burnt. This location had restored my love for chicken from Popeyes.
