I was traveling through Alice and stopped for fuel. While stopped, I ordered dinner on Popeyes App. Simple enough, you think. I ordered at 7:05pm. I then drive 5 min. to the location. I sat in line behind the only car at the order station. And I sat. AND I SAT. After another 5 minutes they took his order and I pulled up to let them know I was there. And I sat. I finally pulled around and went inside. I was third in line. And there was no one taking orders. First one person left, then a second. Finally someone came to take orders. I showed him my receipt on the app. He said “I’ll get that started, and gave me a printed receipt. That was at 19:31. I finally got my order at straight up 8pm. NEVER AGAIN.

Chicken is “unavailable “…(pull out into the street, turn left, make a left turn at the signal, the make an” illegal left turn into our lot and we will bring out your order…SOP. .. Then check your order carefully it will almost always have something wrong which the associate will gladly bring the corrected items in 5 or ten minutes. Then about 30 minutes after arriving, you leave and all is well until you bite your spicy thigh and find the spicey is absent. ENJOY!

The food is always good, but the service is awful. I’ll still come, because it’s the only decent chicken place around Alice. But the wait times are getting ridiculous. You place an order anywhere(online, drive thru or dine in) you’re gonna wait at least 25-30 minutes). And almost every other time I order, there’s something wrong. It’s lame. It was never like this when I first moved here but over the past few months it’s just gotten worse and worse.
