Great chicken! I’ve always had a good experience here. Quite a wait today. It took over 10 minutes for me to put in my order at the drive thru. But my chicken was great. I requested dark meat. The mashed potatoes are always bomb- love the gravy. Great tea. Tried the strawberry biscuit- it was surprisingly moist and worth the price.

I dropped by to try Popeye’s seasonal fish sandwich (I’m guessing because of Lent season). I saw a post on Facebook about how it’s better than the Arby’s fish sandwich…so I had to try it for myself. I’ve had Arby’s, Sonic’s, and Church’s fish sandwiches…but Popeyes has everybody beat! It’s soooo good…they just need to sell cheese to add to the sandwich…but two thumbs way up! The lady was nice enough to give me a little cup of shredded cheese to add to the sandwich myself. Y’all better try it before they take it off the menu.

The service here was horrible. I was the first person in the drive through line and it took 20 minutes for me to pull forward and go inside. Where I found a mostly empty lobby and an employee holding my meal apparently about to walk outside. Apparently no one told him I was outside but he insisted no one forgot about the order. I asked why it took 20 minutes and he said the wings take 7 minutes to cook. They could have warned me about that and they could have gotten it out in half the time. I will not go back.

9:25pm, September 3rd. Went drive-thru….no one came on the speaker. I waited a few minutes and said “hello?”. No answer. I pulled around to the window and had a truck in front of me. Truck pulled away and I pulled up to the window. A girl with long red braids opened the window….didn’t say anything…just stared at me. I said “hello, I have a coupon for bogo 2 piece chicken meal.” She still didn’t say anything. She took the coupon from my hand and I said “thank you” as she closed the window in my face. She turned and shouted “how do you ring this up?”…then disappeared. She returned and opened the window and asked what I wanted as a side on the 1st…then the 2nd. Didn’t ask if I wanted spicy or non…just shut the window. Opened it again to quote my $9+ change….took my card….again I said thank you only to have it ignored and the window shut on me again. She returned my card and then handed me the bag with 2 boxes in it turned over on their sides…one with red beans and rice…the other with mashed potatoes and gravy. I said “thank you…..” for a 3rd and final time only to have it ignored yet again. I thought she at least put the receipt in the bag….but no. The girl with the long red braids working the window at 925-930pm on Sunday, September 3rd, NEEDS TO BE TRAINED ON BEING POLITE TO CUSTOMERS. It was my first time going to this establishment since it opened….I won’t be back.

Great service. Friendly staff. Food was crispy, hot, and fresh. Little wait but that’s ok as long as the food is fresh. Only thing is they always forget my fork(s) with my order. Maybe it’s their way of telling me to dip the chicken in the beans and rice?

I paid 65 dollars at this Popeyes, and only went home with half my order. So I drove all the way back to get the second half of my order. When I got home the second time, I found out the order was still wrong and the Dr. Pepper was straight carbonation. I called and asked for a refund on the two sandwich’s that were wrong and the Dr. Peppers. I was told by Brandon that he knew the Dr. Peppers were out because he just changed them in the back and apologized but he would hand the phone over to a manager. Brandon was nice. However, I was then told by the manager Samantha that I had to return ALL of the food (even the part I left at home when I made the second long trip back up to Popeyes) to get a partial refund? I only wanted the two sandwiches and Dr. Pepper refunded? Not the entire 65 dollar ticket. So I told her that part of the chicken was already eaten and that we wanted to pay for that part. To which Samantha responded that then there’s nothing they can do, that she has to refund the entire ticket and have all the food back, or I can hang up. This was by far the most unprofessional customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Not a fan of this location. I used the drive thru but was asked to wait. No cars were in front of me, but I waited about 5 minutes before my order was taken. They were out of the cinnamon apple pies. At the pickup window the young lady didn’t look like she wanted to be there. She wasn’t rude or friendly. She was just there if you know what I mean. Another lady was hosing down the floor behind the counter. This was 2 hours before closing. The chicken nuggets & biscuit were warm and tasted great. The fries were barely warm and tasted old. I don’t feel the need to return to this sub par location.

They didn’t give me what I ordered and charged for it. I asked for 2 extra things and though they were on the receipt, they were not in the bag. It took 30 minutes to get my order and there was only one person behind me. The food was Luke warm when I got it. My daughter found a fine straight black hair in her chicken. We have thick brown and blonde curly hair. We will not be going back. I’d rate it zero if I could.

Do not come here! Very disappointed with the service waited at the drive in speaker for over 6 mins finally order then waited another almost 8 minutes to get the food only to pull forward with seeing that they didn’t give me what I had paid for. Drove back around to the drive through and now have been waiting over 10 mins for help. Mind you now one was in front of me when I had ordered. I should have listened to the reviews from previous people. Do not come to this location. Very unprofessional. I’m sure if it was their food getting cold and orders wrong they would be upset too. For almost $30 worth of food. It’s just a little sad that it’s gonna be cold because of peoples laziness.

It’s a 50/50 chance here! You’re either going to catch them when service and food taste really great and outstanding or really bad slow service and horrible food. I love Popeyes flavor of chicken over any other chicken establishment, but this establishment on West Adams could possibly use a change in in management and staff all together. The inconsistency of service can deter you away from coming back. It’s like playing a slot machine, you either win big or lose big here. I give it 3 stars because when the food and service is right, it restores my faith in them. Too many times i’ve come here and my order is incorrect, missing part of what I’ve ordered all while after waiting near 30min.
