Just went to this location about 2 days ago for lunch at 12:00 p.m. not only did I wait in line for about 10 minutes but about 5 minutes after I place my order for two spicy breasts the person at the register came back and told me it would be another 12 minutes because they were out of chicken. Who runs out of food at lunch time?? Could they not contemplate that there was going to be a lot of people coming for lunch and maybe make some chicken before that time. And that is not my only complaint. When I actually do get what I order it is usually very dry and tastes like it has been sitting under the heat lamp for hours. Not only that but dine-in is very rarely open, closed at very weird and various hours, and when ordering through the drive-thru of course they’re usually out of something or it takes forever. I love Popeyes Chicken but don’t think I will be going back to this location even though I work right across the street. I only get 30 minutes for lunch and they take up 28 of them just getting my order ready. They need some quality employees and management at the Royse City location. Such a bummer!

Absolutely terrible, needs new management. Ordered at the drive through. Did not receive napkins, not even one. Did not receive straws for any of the drinks. The fries were cold, the chicken was dry and over cooked. They never asked what sauces we would like, they didn’t put any in the bag not even ketchup. Completely unacceptable, I should not have to ask for sauce it should be offered, absolutely shouldn’t have to ask for straws and napkins. That’s day one elementary stuff. I know the employees don’t care, and it’s obvious the management is terrible. Fire the manager, or just shut the place down and open a good restaurant like Chick-fil-A. None of this would ever happen at Chick-fil-A and the foods better. I’m done with Popeyes.

Young gal from Colombia was very nice and helpful. She had a great attitude and even though she was at the end of her shift she stayed to be a good representative of your store and made sure I got what I needed, instead of rushing out.

I showed up to the drive through since Google said they’re open until 10pm. After waiting, I drove to the window. I didn’t see any employees, but on my way to the drive through I saw 2 sitting at the tables talking.

I arrived at around 7:45 pm and the doors were locked. The two workers sitting by the front door pointed to the drive thru. I get to the drive thru and they say only cash. I drove 20 minutes for this! Please put a note on the door or something, so that people don’t continue to waste their time. You can’t “love that chicken at Popeye’s” if you can’t even get any.

Arrived at the drive thru at 9²⁵ and sat there for 5 minutes with no service so I pulled to the window and someone tried to wave me by buy when I stopped and insisted they open the window he informed me that they didn’t have enough workers to serve me. 30 minutes before they close, and with him and the other two employees hanging out in the dining area talking. So 3 workers at least. Extremely disappointed in the establishments employees.

I’m going to keep it 100. I’ve been here plenty of times. This place is real hit or miss depending on the time of day. So I only go to Popeyes during the day. I got the blackened tenders (they were ok) but the reason I’m leaving five stars is because the guy working hooked me up with a few extra tenders. I really appreciate that.

Running a restaurant can be hard but in this case there’s really no other explanation other than they are trying to fail. So far they’ve only waisted my time. Maybe theyll one day be able to waste my money, but then again, like another review says “it’s always something.”
