I love Popeyes, this was not one of my better experiences though. The chicken we received with all three meals was sodden with oil and just wasn’t as good as usual. The staff was great, food just was not up to their usual standard.

Nothing like pulling up to the drive thru at 3:30 in the afternoon, not a soul in line and it’s quiet. Not a hello, one moment, hold on, can I take your order, or static across the intercom. Not a sign on the menu saying out of order either. So thank you for the zero customer service today. If I could give zero stars I would.

I bought 2 of the $6 big boxes, agreed to the 50¢ upcharge for Mac and cheese, got home to see that the container was only about 1/3 full. Had asked for (and was really looking forward to) coleslaw, got home, no coleslaw. Beans and rice instead. The chicken was hot and good, but pretty disappointed about my side items.

The cashier was nice and actually knew how to count change but the kitchen crew was a total cluster… It was over an hour till closing time when I ordered, they didn’t have any of what I ordered so they had to cook it, a group of 6-7 people came in right after I ordered and they were out of some of what they wanted to order. I waited over 20 minutes and they had 2 of my four dinners ready but had put the wrong sauce in and of course was out of what I wanted… The lady I assumed was manager was spazzing and the whole operation was totally a S#!t show. Not to mention, their chicken tenders were tiny… I could lay 5 of them side by side and my 67-year-old granny hand was bigger… the sides were only about half full… I guess that’s one way to boost your bottom line… But only once for me!

The service was terrible. It was 9pm. They closed at 10pm. The girl made sure to tell me they close at 10 and we could only sit on one side of the restaurant because she was sweeping. Then they told us they couldn’t make breaded strips. But all of the sudden, after we ordered one of the workers went and got a bag of breaded strips from the freezer and prepared them for another customer. Rude.

It was an alright experience, I can’t truly blame them for some mistakes. I didn’t expect them to forget some of the food but they were apologetic for that mistake and were nice to acknowledge that.

The lady at the drive thru is normally there at lunch during the week and is always so friendly. The food was good. Could give a little more shrimp and fries. Some of the shrimp were just little bitty

Food is always freshly cooked and hot. Service inside is always quick and friendly. I gave 4 stars on atmosphere due to location. It is not ideal but when they are the only one in town……
