We visited this location (7/3/23) and had the worst Popeyes experience of our lives. It is ironic that they call this a “fast” food restaurant when it took them almost a hour just to make 8 spicy chicken sandwiches; which is honestly not even a complicated order as it is their top menu item. The staff is even worse as they are completely clueless on how to manage the orders.

This was the worst meal I’ve had from any fast food place in my life. Let me tell you about the bacon & cheese chicken sandwich. I don’t know the recipe, but this is my take on it. First off, you don’t wanna waste time so just skip the cheese and the bacon altogether. Secondly, you go party city and buy a rubber chicken. You take a thin slice of it and dip it in old grease until the rubber hardens a bit. On your way back from party city make a stop at your favorite gas station and get 2 buns. Lather em up in mayo as to soak the breading on your rubber chicken real good. 2 pickle slices for good measure and you’re good to go!! For a side just add some fries (those were good); then, for a drink, you take a full cup of lemonade powder mix and add 20oz of water then chill it after leaving it in a hot car for 10 hours. The perfect sorrento Popeyes meal! Don’t forget to rudely half toss the bag of food to your customer waiting in the parking lot. I’d add pictures of the chunks of rubber chicken in my toilet but I’m sure you get the image.

This is the worst Popeyes I’ve ever been to. Several people from my work complain about the service during the week it’s terrible the first thing you try to order they will always say they are out of.. they have no manners it takes 5 minutes for them to say anything if you go through the drive through. The food tastes old sometimes. There are some people that work there that are great but during the week it sucks to have to drive far to get anything to eat. It’s the most unwelcoming fast food place I have ever been to. They get the order wrong very often as well.

They could use a little order. It seems they all get engaged in the same activity. They need to stay in their lane unless they know specifically what’s going on. However, they seem to be attentive and professional. Except I think the white female was doing a lot. She needs a lesson on professionalism. Every Black person doesn’t speak the same with the same cadence. Remain with a professional demeanor regardless of the customer. Last thing the fries were cold. They left them sitting in while the sandwich was involved in a conversation that didn’t have anything to do with her. The spicy chicken sandwich was spicy, but the chicken was not.

Didn’t have half of the menu, including drinks. Man taking orders went back and forth on whether or not they had several different things. Gave us half of our order. No receipt given and they didn’t remember what we ordered. Told us to pull around and then we watched all of the workers go on break as we discovered that our popcorn shrimp did not have shrimp inside and our nuggets looked like popcorn shrimp. Then after twenty minutes of waiting, my husband went inside where one of the men taking a break said “Oh, you’re nuggets just finished” and another lady taking a break said “why didn’t you tell us that they were waiting on the rest of those order?”, to which the first man replied “I was going to get it when I was ready”. Then he went to work the drive thru and still not get the order. The third man on break was laughing and saying “y’all need to get it together”. At least it was entertaining.

Popeyes is always hit and miss.. But this one was worse then the normal bad Popeyes.. Lackluster lifeless crew that acts like they can’t hear you.. Don’t understand why get the job if you’re so miserable doing it.. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. But not much to choose from at that exit.. Better off getting off on Hwy 30, plenty to choose from there..

Sign says close at 11 and here it is 9:30, and they come on the speaker saying “We ain’t got nothing “ ….NOTHING…sounding slow and high or just stupid…I’m glad I didn’t get the chicken bc it probably wasn’t right anyway. They really get a 0 rating don’t waste your time
