Went to Popeyes in Newburgh Indiana on 8/19/23 approximately 2pm and we were the only costumers in the restaurant. As we walked in a staff member was behind the counter eating fries but stopped to get our order. Before walking in I noticed the the glass door being very smeared up and I stated restaurants should always have their doors clean it says a lot of what you’re walking into. We ordered our food to only turn around to get our drinks and be seated when we noticed not one table was clean. We asked for a table to be cleaned and the manager stated pick one and I will clean it for you. The manager did clean us a table and wiped down a few others while other staff stood behind the counter. We received or food sat down and to look around only to see dead flies around the window seals and how disgusting the floor was not to mention there were no napkins or ketchup for us for our meal. As we were leaving the restaurant the manager said I hope you enjoyed your meal as she and another staff was walking out to smoke in their vehicle. I’m really not sure how the food was from being disgusted with the cleanliness of this establishment. Not a second chance for this restaurant…

I love my local Popeye’s restaurant! The staff are always friendly and attentive, and the food is well-cooked. Most times, they are understaffed, but the crew still does their best to make each guest’s visit a great one. You can always count on quick service during the lunch rush, too!

Food is very good, but way overpriced. Had a coupon. Two pieces of chicken, side, and small drink for $6. Without coupon it is $10! I could eat here occasionally, but only if i have a coupon. $10 for two little pieces of chicken and a side? Way over priced. $6 was a decent price for it.

Would love to give 5 stars but of the handful of times I’ve went, the line is ridiculously long and takes forever to get through. I had a mobile order time before last that I tried to pick up at 9:30 and was told that they didn’t have what I ordered and I guess refused to make it. So… I had to find somewhere else to eat and wait 2 days for my refund. Now, I’m sitting in the line at 8:57… ordered online at 8:15 and it’s taking about 7-8 minutes to even ask for orders and 2 of the not only employees but managers (grey shirts) are outside chit chatting while 4 cars are waiting in line to put in their order. SMH

I used the phone app for the first time. I started a deal. I set it all up, but selected a premium drink. This broke the special deal. There was no notice that the deal was broken. So I would have spent almost $4 for that drink. So be sure to check the total.

When I pulled up to the drive thru yesterday evening, all employees plus management were sitting outside smoking cigarettes. I asked them if they were closed. The manager said no, we are on a smoke break, so I continued to sit in front of the speaker until their smoke break was over approximately 5 minutes. Then I was offered help thru the speaker after they all went inside. Service was very rude and untimely.

I ordered the shrimp and chicken strips. This was my first time to Popeyes ever! I mostly went for the shrimp. The staff seemed nice. I was the only person there inside and one at the drive thru. I had to drive to I only ordered things I could eat in the car. There were NO SHRIMP! The biscuit was hard as a rock. How hard is it to get an order right for the only person in the restaurant?

The food itself was absolutely horrendous. It was way too salty and not close to fresh. I’m giving it five stars though for the lady that took care of us. We came in looking for a deal and she was able to provide us with some coupons that she had. She was very kind and prompt with our order.

I ordered two 5-piece tender meals. The tenders are mostly breading, with very little chicken. It would be bad enough if the meal wasn’t $13 and this was an isolated incident. Shame on me for being fooled more than twice.

First time at Popeye’s was awesome!!! My friends took me to Popeye’s for lunch. I always thought the food would be too spicy for me. Not at all. The spice was in my sauce, Mardi Gras Honey Mustard.
