I absolutely cannot believe that this place has a single good review. It must be the manager and friends who give it good reviews. I have lived in Clarksdale for about 4 months. I grew up eating Popeyes and I love their spicy chicken. I dont believe there is a such thing as a “fast” Popeyes, they are all slow, but this place takes slow to a new level. Every time I have been there (around 10 times) multiple cars pull out of the line and leave, myself included a few times. The times I have waited the 20-30 minutes in the line and actually make it to the order screen, I order the 3 piece chicken combo spicy. They have never, not one single time, had spicy chicken. WHAT? That is what Popeyes is famous for, but some how they never have spicy chicken there. Tonight, after 25 minutes in line, I ordered the new Blackened Chicken sandwich, spicy, and a 2 piece white, spicy. Got to the window, after about 5 minutes they asked me to pull forward. I did, waited another 15 minutes, 4 cars behind me got their meals and drove away. I finally went to the window and asked for a refund. This was the final straw, I will never go back to the worst Popeyes in the country.

I was in the restaurant on Saturday at 3pm. The manager had an attitude which caused the employees to have an attitude. I never got waited on and I was never acknowledged. As a former fast food manager your attitude makes a difference. If you don’t want to work then stay home. Also the parking lot is awful
