I don’t know how their food is. I placed an order online at 9pm for pick up at 9:20pm. I arrived at 9:21pm. Google says they close at 10pm. Their app says they close at 10pm. Their signs on the drive-thru window say they close at 10pm. I don’t know if this is an error on the part of corporate… a decision made by the franchisee, or a spur of the moment decision by the staff… I won’t go back.

I pulled through the drive-through and the guy on the intercom was very rude while taking my order. I told him my order and he said nothing until I said “hello “ to make sure someone was still there, he then demanded that I tell him what side and drink type though he never asked to begin with. Once I pull up to the window and paid, I realized it was three additional dollars for a large fry instead of a regular fry. It turns out that this is a family size box of fries, when clearly I just wanted a large fry for a single individual. Apparently there is no such thing as a large fry just a giant box for 3 more dollars. The person at the window then told me to pull up although there was no one behind me , so I sat there for a minute. Then a manager came to the window and told me to pull up again, and I said “I will when someone’s behind me “ and they said “you’re sitting on our timer”… So I pulled forward because I didn’t wanna spit in my food but it seems like they’re cheating the system making it look like they’re filling orders faster than they really are. Add seven minutes to their average ticket time because that’s how long I sat there after they asked me to pull forward for no reason other than to get off the timer. I feel lied to and cheated.

Everything is always nice and fresh and hot. You may have to wait a minute for fresh chicken but who doesn’t mind doing that? It’s fresh,hot, and juicy. The spicy chicken sandwich is my favorite. It has a nice bit of heat on the end of your tastebuds.

We came through the drive thru. They had to get change for a $20, so they asked us to pull forward. They first brought the food. It wasn’t hot, just kinda warm and greasy. They brought the change. The girl dropped it and just said, “it’s under the car.” Then went inside.

I really wish 0 stars was an option. I waited 45 minutes to pick up a family meal today. After 30 minutes of patiently waiting, I politely asked what the hold up was and why everyone else was receiving their orders while mine hadn’t even been started. I was then very rudely told that I wasn’t going to rush him and that he was going to complete all of the other orders that came AFTER mine first. I can only assume at this point that he doesn’t understand what the word order means, so I explain it to him. He then told me I could leave if I didn’t like it!!!! Once I realized that he didn’t care about customer service or experience, I asked to speak with his manager. Come to find out, this disheveled employee with a horrible attitude and all around demeanor was the manager!!!! The extremely rude person who couldn’t manage to put my chicken and fries in a bag within a hour, WAS the MANAGER. I refuse to let someone else go through this experience, so I requested his name with the unvoiced intentions of calling corporate. He not only refused to give it to me, he told me that if I didn’t quit talking, he wasn’t going to make my order at all. Well guess what DERECK, you might be the ringleader of the circus, but you don’t own the tent!!! You’re the joke that nobody laughs at and I sincerely hope that this is the last complaint that Popeyes wants to hear about you. When you do finally get fired, you need to reevaluate your life and pick a career that you love. You obviously hate what you’re doing and are ruining countless experiences because of your poor attitude and decisions. I would tell you to do better, but I already know you will. This is because it doesn’t get any worse!!! Of course you’ll never see me at a Popeyes again, but in case you forget what your job is, I made this list for you:

Ordered takeout today & while it was lunch time it still took 40 minutes to prepare our food. When the food arrived it was warm but tasted awful. I’ve been eating Popeyes chicken since 1978 & always loved how their chicken tasted better than KFC. BUT I’m from Louisiana and that’s where I originally began eating Popeyes chicken so maybe they have better recipes, who knows?

Rep taking the order at drive thru was rushing and got 2 ouf of 5 items correct in our order. She even got upset at me because she didn’t listen. Then gave us someone else’s food. It was just poor service and negative attitude which makes the whole experience less enjoyable. Never had a bad experience at Chik FIL A however.

Must amend previous review. While the chicken is delicious the customer service is in the trash can. Terrible! The employee refused to honor a family meal coupon and even when my husband said forget the coupon we would still like the 21 piece meal, she said “No, we ain’t going to do that”. He even spoke to a manager, who was rude, and SHE said No! He left without any food at all. Disgraceful reflection on the whole company. They need to fire the district manager and store manager and start over. Surely, some decent person would like to have that position.
