Ate here tonight and had a great meal. Only reason food is a 4 instead of a 5* is because you could tell some of the food had been sitting under the heat lamp for a bit, but it was all still really tasty.

I don’t know what it is about these fast food restaurants on 278 but they are always out of something. This Popeyes is always out of dark meat, sides and/or biscuits. A 2 piece dark comes with 1 leg and 1 thigh and 2 days ago the guy tried to offer me 2 legs because they were out of dark meat. No sir! In addition to that, the service is extremely slow. As I write this today I’ve been “parked” waiting for them to bring my food out to me because they were waiting on… dark meat of course. The girl said it would be up in 3 minutes, but I’ve now been here for 10. By the way there are 2 other cars that were parked before me also waiting for their orders. Do better!

Went inside to just grab a chicken sandwich, stood at the counter and no one seemed willing to help. Went back outside, got in my car and went to the drive-thru. Ordered a buffalo chicken ranch sandwich and that was it. Got to my next stop and went to take it out of the bag and knew before I even opened it that it was hard as a rock. Completely burnt, completely dried out.

It was 8:30 p.m. I placed my order in the drive thru ( a 3 piece spicy combo and was using a coupon from the app for a 6 piece chicken strip (2 can dine). She let me know that there was gonna be a wait for the straps as they were cooked to order(fine. I had a little time on my lunch break). I get to the window she then informs me that all strips are frozen so I couldn’t get those( loss that coupon). I then tell her I wanted to use my paper coupon for a 5 piece 2 sides and 2 biscuits. She said “you already used a coupon” to which I said “How? I couldn’t get that order”. Then I was told that I couldn’t order at the window even tho my order wasn’t canceled til I got to the window! And that I had to come inside to place the order. Needless to say, when I got back to work I had to go straight back on the floor with no lunch because I had to WAIT when I went inside ♀️ ♀️. I want my coupon back hell! The food was ok tho

No review on the food bc I never got it. Tried to order 2 sandwiches, they were out, so I ordered tenders instead. They gave me the drinks then pulled me to the side where I waited and waited and waited. They were not busy, 3 cars in drive thru and one family inside. No ice in any of the drinks. Finally went inside where the man who was parked beside me was handing them back a bag of food saying it was the wrong order. It was mine. They were about to remake my food but I asked for a refund bc I had already waited 20 minutes. The only good thing I can say is the lady promptly refunded my money and apologized. I went to Zaxbys instead, and got my order in less than 5 minutes.

I went to fast food restaurant and waited for almost 10 minutes until someone attended to me then I was told to pull to the window without my order being taking‼️ I then told the attendant what I wanted to order and after he took my money he had the nerve to tell me it would be an 11 minute wait so I spoke with the “manager” thinking she would compensate me somehow, the wait turned out to be a 30 minute wait this has been THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE AT A POPEYES I hope cooperate views this and the manager and male a is fired‼️ 7/9 around 5:30 pm

Tonight I entered at the Covington location, had went to the bathroom, washed my hands and then waited in line with only one person ahead of me. After the one other customer was helped, I waited at the counter for 25 mins without getting any attention from the 3 visible employees I could see, who were currently not assisting anyone. I think it’s important to point out that the employees were all black, and I am a white man. So, I sat down at the single seat counter, while the other customer went back to the counter and was immediately helped. If this isn’t a blatant show of racism, then I don’t know what is. Ultimately I left this Popeyes location without ordering, and I will never enter this location again, which is on 278 in Covington, Ga. I will also spread to everyone I know the experience I had here and encourage these people not to support a staff of racists. I’m sure a lot will be taking their business somewhere else.

This location is an absolute joke. Every time I come here they are always out of one thing or another or several things at once or have a 15 to 20 min wait for chicken And the staff is always as unprofessional as it gets. After 3 attempts at eating at this location and every visit being an epic fail I will not be coming to this here ever again. This restaurant should be closed and restaffed with people that actually know how to do their job properly and professionally
