Ordered three piece meal spicy and when I got the chicken a foul odor came from bag but I figure it was nothing. Opened the chicken box and tell me why the chicken was dark brown in some spots and golden brown in others. On the dark brown sections you can see the pattern of the chicken skin when it’s raw. Needless to say I took it back. The manager comes to the window says he tasted it and it taste fine. Well sir you work there and probably eat there everyday so you going to say it’s fine. He asked if I wanted something else I said no and he asked what I wanted. Well if I don’t want anymore of the funny smelling and looking chicken duh the answer is simple a refund. He gave me my refund. I mean I am plus size but I don’t eat what don’t smell right or look right. It’s my cheat day on my diet but I’ll get a salad and be happy. They need to go to go to Louisiana or Houston Texas and learn how to cook chicken cause the Popeyes in those two states never looked like that and I stayed in Texas for seven years and visited new Orleans several times.

Typical Popeyes experience, wrong drink, wrong sauce, slow service, and cold fries. If it was a busy day, I’d understand. Unfortunately, we were the only ones inside or outside.

I went through the drive-thru and ordered some sandwiches. No issues here and the store was not very busy. When I got to the window to pay, I was asked to pull forward that they were waiting on the chicken to cook. There was already a car in front of me and they had to get him to pull forward even more to allow me space to park. He did and I pulled up behind him. After waiting several minutes I started checking my time wondering how long I had been waiting. I checked my receipt and determined I had waited 15 minutes already. The car in front of me was also still waiting. I went inside and asked about my order and handed the guy my receipt. He goes to the back and comes back after a minutes of so with my three sandwiches and places them in a bag. With a blank stare and not even a thank you (much less a “sorry for the wait”) he hands me the bag. I had to ask to get my receipt back and again, another blank stare and nothing else. I left and headed towards home. The first sandwich I ate on the way home and it was fine. Later, I bit into the second sandwich. The first bite, mostly bread and breading tasted fine. The second bit tasted TERRIBLE. The chicken had the texture of rubber and it was clearly undercooked. The rest was thrown away. This was not the first time Popeye’s seemed to have no idea how to run a restaurant, but those trips at least had decent food if / when I ever received it. This was very different. When the expensive food they sell cannot even be eaten, they have serious problems.

The food is good but the manager that was on duty was not interested in the customers in the lobby and he said that he was working the drive thru and the front lobby is closed. It was about 20 minutes before he decided to take our orders.

I only wish there was something less than a 1 star… it would have been impossible to have had slower service, then when we finally got the food, it was cold… great job guys!

I have been to this Popeyes numerous of times and they can’t seem to keep the promotional ghost pepper wings. I’m wondering are they only defrosting 50 wings in the morning or not ordering enough to cover the day. But yet the commercial for them is on ever two minutes and on top of the the dining area was wet and nasty.

Ordered 6 wings (regular) and 1 small tea. Got to drive thru window and the cost was $26.10. I told her I only ordered 6 wings and a small tea……..it’s $26.10 I was told again. Needless to say, we did not pay that and told them we were not paying that much for 6 wings and we drove away. That is absolutely ridiculous!!!!

The flounder fish sandwich was good, but the French fries weren’t hot or even room temperature. The lady that took our order wasn’t very friendly and we had to wait a while on our food. There were people that came in AFTER we did, placed their order and got their food before we did. I would have given at least 4 or 5 stars if these issues didn’t exist.

Came by for lunch when driving through Florence for work. I should have looked at the reviews first. It took like 26 minutes to get through the drive-thru line. I got the new fish sandwich. It had more breading on the fish than there was fish. The fish was so thin. They didn’t give me a Receipt so I had to go inside and get one and when I went inside it took them probably 5 minutes before someone came up to the front register. The only positive thing about my experience was the lady that took my order was nice and professional.
