Customer service very poor. All I ever want is a side of spicy mayo and the front lady never gives it to me. Anyone else doesn’t seem to care. Also chicken tenders have 5% meat

It’s definitely one of the worst Popeyes in the area, and it’s not even close. This is located inside a truck stop, and I’d rather eat out of one of the trucks that pulls in them eat out of this place. There is continuously garbage overflowing outside and sometimes inside a rarely clean the tables or seats or drink area. And if that’s how they treat the areas that people can see, just imagine what goes on behind the scenes. It’s also overpriced because it’s right off the highway and in the truck stop. Total double whammy of terribleness.

Today (03/12/23) I was at this restaurant and it was my second visit as I was driving down the RT I-95 and I was happy to see the Popeye restaurant on my way. When I pulled over I recognized that place since I was there last year too. And I don’t remember it by good reason. Last year whatever I ordered (to take out) was cold and dry and it felt like it was cooked day before. So, today I decided to give them a second chance. I was wrong. The girl who worked there was not friendly person at all. She didn’t even listen so she gave me only one sandwich (I ordered two). When the other guy got in he assisted me, and she made another sandwich. Btw, I ordered two classic sandwiches, large fries and nuggets. Both sandwiches were chewy and greasy and half cold and the fries were old, chewy and disgusting. Only one thing that was okay were the nuggets. After today’s visit I promised myself that I will NEVER EVER eat at this place. I visit Popeyes all the time and I know how their food tastes. I’m surprised that this place is still in business. When you leave $30 for food you wanna fresh and tasty food – not just some leftover from yesterday. Disgrace!

Online it shows there close at 10. Ask the cashier and she said 9. So what is it? False advertising or you all just close early? There were cleaning up way before 9. The woman was rude with a blank stare after I questioned her…smh

It’s hard to review my recent visit because I was there at closing. I love Popeyes and go a few times a year. This time I ordered ahead, online for pick-up. Unfortunately the employee only gave me what was available. It would have been nice to have fresher food and the items I ordered. I had to get spicy chicken wings instead of mild and they were so dry and pretty bad. I basically threw them out. But since it was my first time using that app, I was able to take advantage of the free chicken tender meal offer. I learned to go there shortly after they open before lunch or the same for the dinner hours. It’s when the food is freshly cooked or they’re busy enough to be making more during those hours. Like any fast food place. It’s usually always good & not greasy like KFC seems to be a lot. It seems air fried to me.

Just spent $30 on the worst fried chicken I’ve ever had. Food tasted like it was made and kept under a warmer many hours earlier. Also, the drive thru is permanently closed for absolutely no reason.

Horrible. Staff is rude and unprofessional. Dirty and disgusting. They are “short staffed” tonight so they said “what you see is what you can get” and pointed to some pieces of chicken and who knows what else on the counter. Stay away.

The popularity of the Popeye’s chicken sandwich is killing the quality of food at Popeye’s, because it is being undercooked to rush it out of the door to the customer. Usually, the chicken is so rubbery, tough and hard to chew through. At one time it was good. Those times are gone people.

They have a staff that could care less if you were breathing…so indifferent, not even rude…they just don’t care about customers. Food wrong…no sorries, just, you wanna wait for a new one? Like your not expected to make them do their job. The worst customer service experience in my history. I have worked fast food as a grown a#$ women, I know it’s not always fun or easy…but find some gratitude and appreciation for the customers that give you n opportunity to work.
